Supply Chain Advisor, Business Consulting - Supply Chain & Operations (Procurement)(Manager)(Multiple Positions), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Chicago, IL.
Provide advice on the Procurement process and technology transformations in areas including designing procurement operating models, Procure to Pay (P2P), supplier relationship management, technology optimization, and procurement performance management. Design and deploy advanced analytic solutions through the development of spend taxonomies and data collection and enrichment activities. Provide improvements in sourcing in category management: develop category strategies and playbooks; execute strategic sourcing, auctions, and tactical sourcing events; and perform supplier segmentation analysis. Deploy contract technologies, design collaboration processes, and develop contract migration strategies. Work on Procure to Pay transformations, identifying opportunities and quantifying business value to C-Level executives. Develop buying and payment channel strategies and P2P business cases and execute catalogs and P-card programs. Lead functional design workshops. Design on-premise and SaaS software solutions, leveraging supplier networks and portals.
Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field and 4 years of work experience.
Must have 4 years of experience with personal computer applications including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
Must have 3 years of experience providing advisory services to third party clients in procurement operating model design and procurement organizational model design.
Must have 3 years of experience managing staff on multiple projects and providing direction to team members.
Must have 3 years of experience in designing new procurement operating OR organizational models, OR implementing eProcurement technology (with catalogs, requisitions, purchase orders, receipts, invoice, and settlement processes).
Must have 3 years of advisory and/or consulting experience for clients in the Consumer Products, Automotive, Life Sciences, Industrial Products, Financial Services, or Technology sectors.
Must have 2 years industry experience in Strategic sourcing, procurement operating model design, category management and strategic sourcing, procurement organizational model design, and eProcurement process and technology implementation (Ariba, Coupa, SAP SRM or similar).
Requires travel up to 80%, of which 20% may be international to serve client needs.
