The Opportunity
Our SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) professionals help organizations modernize and transform their warehouse and logistics operations through SAP-enabled solutions. We work with clients to improve service levels, inventory visibility, operational efficiency, and supply chain performance.

 

As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading large-scale SAP EWM transformation programs, serving as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, and driving delivery excellence across complex engagements. You will help clients define their future-state warehouse strategy, lead solution design, oversee implementation teams, and identify opportunities to expand EY’s relationship and services.

 

Your Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will manage and deliver complex processes and solutions while maintaining a strong focus on quality and risk management. You will face challenges that require innovative problem-solving and analytical skills, allowing you to grow your expertise in technology analysis and implementation. Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Leading engagement delivery and managing client relationships on a daily basis.
  • Overseeing program/project management and ensuring engagement economics are met.
  • Developing resource plans and budgets for complex engagements.
  • Leading large-scale SAP EWM transformation programs and complex workstreams, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with client business objectives.
  • Serving as a trusted advisor to executive and senior client stakeholders on warehouse management, logistics, and supply chain transformation initiatives.
  • Managing engagement delivery, including project planning, resource allocation, budget oversight, risk management, and quality assurance.
  • Facilitating executive-level discussions, solution design workshops, and business process transformation sessions.
  • Defining SAP EWM solution strategy, architecture, and roadmap recommendations to support client business goals.
  • Overseeing end-to-end implementation activities, including solution design, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Reviewing and guiding the design of custom RICEF objects and functional specifications to address complex business requirements.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing consulting teams while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Contributing to business development activities, including client pursuits, proposals, RFP responses, and thought leadership across the SAP Supply Chain practice.

  • Proven ability to manage large-scale client engagements, engagement economics, and resource planning.
  • Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams across complex transformation initiatives.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience identifying new business opportunities and leading proposal development, pursuits, and RFP responses.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • A bachelor’s degree (4-year degree).
  • Typically, no less than 9 years’ relevant professional experience, including significant SAP consulting and delivery experience.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on SAP EWM implementation and transformation experience.
  • Experience leading large SAP programs, major workstreams, or multiple concurrent client engagements.
  • Experience leading cross-functional project teams, mentoring consultants, and driving successful project delivery.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and executive stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading business process design, solution architecture discussions, and technology transformation initiatives.
  • A flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 80%.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Prior consulting experience leading warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain transformation programs.
  • SAP certification in SAP EWM, S/4HANA Supply Chain, or related SAP Supply Chain solutions.
  • Experience leading multiple full lifecycle SAP EWM implementations from strategy and design through deployment and post-go-live support.
  • Deep experience performing and overseeing SAP EWM solution design and configuration activities.
  • Experience leading the design and documentation of custom RICEF solutions and functional specifications.
  • Experience integrating SAP EWM with S/4HANA and other SAP solutions, including MM, SD, PP, TM, and Manufacturing capabilities.
  • Experience developing and overseeing testing strategies, test execution, defect management, and solution validation activities.
  • Experience leading end-user training, organizational change management, and user adoption initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations across distribution, manufacturing, and complex supply chain environments.
  • Experience contributing to business development efforts, thought leadership, and practice growth initiatives.

  • The salary range for this job is:
    • New York City, Boston, and Washington DC Metro Areas, Washington State, and Southern California offices – $205,900 to $427,800
    • Bay Area California offices – $214,600 to $445,700
    • All other offices locations in the US, including Sacramento – $171,600 to $392,100
  • Individual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
