In this role, you will design and apply comprehensive methods and practices to govern the entire lifecycle of data assets, ensuring their protection and monetization. You will perform maturity assessments on data management capabilities and advise on tools and roadmaps to implement them, all while aligning data strategies with business objectives.
Your key responsibilities
As a Senior Manager in Data Management and Strategy, you will lead complex processes and projects, ensuring quality and risk management while navigating organizational dynamics. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with clients, providing insights and solutions that drive business value. You will be responsible for managing client relationships and engagement delivery, with regular travel requirements to meet client needs.
- Lead engagement delivery and manage client relationships on a daily basis.
- Develop resource plans and budgets for engagements, ensuring effective engagement economics.
- Exercise judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining results.

- Ability to initiate the requirement gathering, architect solutions, blueprinting, testing, and complete the workflow and documentation, as well as the functional design of the solution.
- Liaise with the stakeholders and technical team to translate needs into business solutions and complete the configurations and/or integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Proven ability to construct and direct technology projects in line with organizational goals.
- Expertise in project and program delivery methodologies, with the ability to mentor and develop others.
- Strong analytical skills to develop creative solutions for complex problems.
- Strategic thinking to drive sales, business growth, and client satisfaction.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Typically, no less than 5 - 7 years of relevant experience working with one or more SAP module with full-cycle implementations inside your core module.
- Strong knowledge of Data Privacy principles.
- Expertise in Master Data Management practices.
- Experience with Data Governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Data Strategy and Data Management concepts.
- Proficiency in Metadata Management.
- Understanding of Ontology Design.
- Knowledge of IT Operating Models.
- Familiarity with Data Fabric concepts.
- Prior consulting experience.
- Specialized skills in Data Fabric, Data Governance, Enterprise IT Architecture, and other data management disciplines.
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills.
- Experience managing SAP projects or work streams and project-based team members.
- Knowledge of leading practices, benchmarking, peer company environments and prior advisory experience relevant to industry-specific finance and technology functions.
- Ability and comfort-level researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies.
- Proven experience providing governance and leadership oversight for enterprise SAP data migration programs.
- A willingness to travel to meet client needs.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience with Data Office Organization and IT Architecture.
- Familiarity with Digital Fluency and Hybrid Collaboration techniques.
- Strong emotional agility to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics.
- Experience with enterprise SAP Data Migration, Master Data Governance and Data Analytics is highly preferred.
- A proactive approach to identifying and solving client issues.

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $144,000 to $329,100. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $172,800 to $374,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
- Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
