EY's Oracle Services practice is a national consulting practice that assists in planning, pursuing, delivering and managing large, complex full lifecycle initiatives.  We also provide our clients with experience in leading practices, methods and resources using Oracle applications and technology. The Oracle Services practice advises clients to understand, architect and implement the business processes and cloud technologies required to optimize their business.

 

The Opportunity

As a Delivery Excellence leader, you will drive successful engagement outcomes through strong delivery leadership, governance, financial stewardship, stakeholder management, and operational excellence. You will work across client and EY teams to establish accountability, manage risk, optimize performance, and help ensure Oracle engagements are delivered consistently, predictably, and profitably.

 

You will help ensure engagements are delivered consistently, predictably, and profitably by applying Delivery Excellence principles throughout the engagement lifecycle. This includes establishing effective governance, monitoring delivery health, managing engagement financial performance, mitigating risks, optimizing resource utilization, and maintaining transparency with stakeholders.

 

Your Key Responsibilities

In this role as a Delivery Excellence leader, you will drive successful engagement outcomes through strong delivery leadership, governance, financial stewardship, stakeholder management, and operational excellence. You will work across client and EY teams to help ensure Oracle engagements are delivered consistently, predictably, and profitably.

  • Serve as the Engagement Manager for complex Oracle transformation programs and strategic client engagements.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful business and technology outcomes across diverse Oracle products, technologies, and industries.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with client executives, sponsors, and key stakeholders.
  • Establish governance, delivery controls, and performance measures that support successful engagement outcomes.
  • Monitor engagement health and drive actions that improve quality, predictability, transparency, and stakeholder confidence.
  • Own engagement financial performance, including forecasting, budgeting, margin management, scope control, and commercial oversight.
  • Proactively identify, mitigate, and resolve delivery risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations.
  • Lead workforce planning, resource management, and talent development activities across engagements.
  • Provide executive-level reporting, insights, and recommendations to client and EY leadership.
  • Leverage AI, automation, and delivery accelerators to enhance engagement performance and delivery outcomes.
  • Support business development activities, including pursuits, proposals, client presentations, and account growth initiatives.
  • Contribute to Delivery Excellence thought leadership, capability development, and the continued growth of Oracle Services.

  • Broad understanding of Oracle-enabled transformation and enterprise application delivery.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience managing engagement financial performance.
  • Expertise in delivery governance, risk management, issue resolution, resource planning, and performance monitoring.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to make timely decisions in complex or ambiguous situations.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and executive-presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary, geographically distributed, and culturally diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities focused on measurable business and client outcomes.
  • Commitment to innovation, continuous improvement, talent development, and client service.

 

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Typically, 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in consulting, technology transformation, enterprise applications, program delivery, or a related field.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience serving as an Engagement Manager, Program Manager, Delivery Lead, Transformation Leader, or in a comparable leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale Oracle-enabled business and technology transformation programs.
  • Experience delivering one or more Oracle product suites, platforms, or technologies within complex enterprise environments.
  • Experience managing large delivery teams, multiple interdependent workstreams, significant budgets, and executive stakeholder groups.
  • Experience managing engagement financials, including budgets, forecasts, revenue, margin, scope, resources, and commercial commitments.
  • Experience applying and executing various delivery methodologies.
  • The ability and willingness to travel up to 60% based on client and business needs.

  • The salary range for this job is:
    • New York City, Boston, and Washington DC Metro Areas, Washington State, and Southern California offices – $205,900 to $427,800
    • Bay Area California offices – $214,600 to $445,700
    • All other offices locations in the US, including Sacramento – $171,600 to $392,100
  • Individual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
