The opportunity
This is a rapidly growing area, so you will have plenty of opportunity to spread your wings and develop your skill set to keep up with the ever-growing demands of the digital landscape. You will work on a team developing, testing, deploying and supporting data- driven applications using .NET Framework, JavaScript, and Power Pages.


In this role, you will identify and define user/customer requirements, focusing on developing user interfaces (UI) across various platforms such as mobile, web, and tablets. You will be responsible for creating software components and services that interact seamlessly with upstream and downstream components, ensuring that business requirements are met through effective coding and programming.


Your key responsibilities
As a Senior Application Designer and Developer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative solutions. Your time will be spent on various responsibilities, including:

  • Collaborating with clients to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that the final product meets their needs
  • Designing and developing user interfaces that are not only functional but also enhance user experience
  • Writing clean, maintainable code and creating specifications that support business objectives
  • Regular travel may be required to meet with clients, providing you with the opportunity to engage directly with stakeholders

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree in Computer Science or Engineering) or related field
  • Typically, no less than 2 - 4 years relevant experience with Microsoft Dynamics and/or Microsoft Power Platform, specifically Power Pages
  • Extensive knowledge of Power Pages design principles including configuration of Basic Forms, Multistep Forms, Lists, and Power Pages security
  • Extensive HTML/CSS/JavaScript experience required
  • Experience leveraging Bootstrap to extend the native capabilities of Power Pages
  • Familiar with relational databases 
  • Extensive experience with C# is a plus
  • Experience working from a mockup to generate markup and styles leveraging leading practices
  • Experience implementing accessibility requirements in Power Pages is a plus
  • Self-starter and able to handle multiple tasks, projects, and priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating enterprise business processes with technology skills
  • Knowledge of leading practices, benchmarking, peer company environments and prior advisory experience relevant to industry-specific business and technology functions
  • Proficiency in Agile Delivery methodologies
  • Experience with Application Delivery Processes
  • Familiarity with Application Development Tools
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance practices
  • Understanding of Testing practices
  • Familiarity with the System Development Lifecycle
  • Experience in System Integration

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • PL-900 Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals certification
  • Experience in complex problem-solving and critical thinking
  • Strong emotional agility and the ability to collaborate in hybrid environments
  • A proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies
  • Degree emphasis in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, MIS or Mathematics desired; master’s degree in one of these areas preferred
  • Certifications and prior consulting experience highly preferred

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.  The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $101,500 to $186,000.  The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $121,700 to $211,300.  Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
