Managed Services - Senior Consultant – IT Product Management
Job Summary
As a Senior Consultant within EY’s Managed Services Product Engineering team, you will play a critical role in driving day-to-day delivery, governance, and continuous improvement of large-scale product engineering managed services engagements. Acting as an IT Product and Project Manager, you will support in executing service delivery commitments, managing client-facing initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence across applications and platform services.
This role is ideal for a hands-on consultant with 7+ years of experience in IT delivery, outsourcing, or product/program management, who thrives at the intersection of client engagement, execution discipline, and service optimization.
Key Responsibilities
IT Product & Project Management
- Serve as an IT Product / Project Manager for client-facing initiatives such as product engineering, application enhancements, modernization, automation, or tool adoption.
- Maintain product backlogs, roadmaps, and delivery plans aligned to client priorities and managed services objectives.
- Coordinate Agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery models depending on engagement needs.
- Drive requirements clarity, acceptance criteria, and successful handoffs into steady-state operations.
Service Delivery & Execution
- Support the end-to-end delivery of managed IT services
- Act as the day-to-day PMO for assigned workstreams, initiatives, or service components within larger engagements.
- Track and manage SLAs, KPIs, milestones, risks, and dependencies, escalating issues proactively to the Senior Manager.
- Ensure delivery activities align with contractual commitments, operating models, and EY quality standards.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Prepare and deliver status reports, dashboards, and operational reviews.
- Support client governance forums, including weekly/monthly service reviews and transformation checkpoints.
- Collaborate closely with the Engagement Manager to maintain strong client relationships and delivery confidence.
Team Coordination & Collaboration
- Coordinate cross-functional and cross-geography teams, including onshore, offshore, and third-party providers.
- Take the lead on delivery tasks, documentation, and best practices.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the delivery team.
Continuous Improvement & Transformation Support
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, standardization, and tooling improvements.
- Support transformation initiatives such as cloud adoption, DevOps enablement, ITSM optimization, and AI-assisted operations.
- Contribute to service transition activities, runbook development, and operational readiness.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Product Management/ Project Management or IT managed services.
- Hands-on experience managing complex IT initiatives in a services or operations-oriented environment.
- Strong understanding of IT service management concepts (ITIL), SLAs, KPIs, and governance models.
- Experience working with global delivery teams and offshore/onshore models.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and execution skills.
Preferred
- Experience in managed services or long-term outsourcing engagements.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise IT environments.
- Experience with ITSM and delivery tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- PMP, ITIL, SAFe, Scrum Master, or equivalent certifications.
- Prior experience in consulting or professional services environments.

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $86,500 to $142,700. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $103,700 to $162,100. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
