IT Advisor, Technology Consulting, Technology Solution Delivery, (Supply Chain - Manufacturing Tech - MES) (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1490410), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Chicago, IL.
Advise on the evaluation, design, customization and optimization of Digital and Cloud based solutions. Work through agreed upon phases of project governance, requirements definition, vendor selection, risk analysis, customization/configuration, testing, training, and rollout of a client's software implementation project lifecycle. Lead team members in developing applicable methodologies, tools, approaches, points of view, thought leadership and accelerators to differentiate EY in the digital manufacturing consulting market. Provide broad technical and functional knowledge of various key technology and business platforms. Team with client technology professionals, and third-party strategic alliances. Develop long-term relationships and networks both internally and externally. Interact and communicate effectively with teammates, clients, stakeholders, and executives.
Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), Mathematics or a related field and 5 years of advisory and/or consulting work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), Mathematics or a related field and 4 years of advisory and/or consulting work experience.
Must have 4 years of experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and/or manufacturing industry with at least one of the following:
-Performing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) business requirements analysis and specifications, system design, application software configuration, development, testing, installation, integration, start-up, or maintenance; OR
-Architecture development and support for complex and generic Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) platforms in at least one of the following: GE Digital, Rockwell, Wonderware, Critical Manufacturing, or Siemens.
Must have 4 years of experience providing design and configuration of computer system solutions in Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and integration to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Quality Systems.
Must have 2 years of experience within software/systems technology and direct solution development capabilities with an Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) platform, database design, and MS SQL.
Must have 4 years of experience developing, implementing and conducting user and administration training as part of the installation process.
Must have 2 years of experience providing detailed and complex root-cause analysis support and maintenance to systems hardware and software.
Must have 4 years of experience preparing written reports and technical evaluations such as functional specifications, technical documents, and proposals.
Must have 4 years of experience demonstrating, communicating, and understanding of both manufacturing business process execution and computer systems architecture.
Must have 2 years of experience managing teams of advisory and/or consulting employees.
Requires travel up to 80%, of which 20% may be international, to serve client needs.
