Growth Driver Activation Center (GDAC) Strategist, Assistant Director
Our Sales & Strategic Pursuits function brings together business, sector, and account knowledge along with EY competencies and solutions to meet unique client needs. The Sales & Strategic Pursuits Organization shapes and drives an integrated growth strategy across EY’s largest accounts, industry sectors, solutions and services, demonstrating and achieving market leadership through a client centric culture.
The opportunity
The Growth Driver Activation Center (GDAC) sits within Sales Activation and includes the following growth drivers: Alliances, Managed Services, and select Solutions. The Growth Driver Activation Strategist is aligned to a sector(s) focused on growing the footprint of the specified growth driver across accounts. The GDAC Strategist does this by driving go-to-market (GTM) efforts while leveraging data and insights, innovating, and collaborating with sector and account leaders. The GDAC Strategist works with various Service Line and Sector Leadership, Global Client Service Partners (GCSP), Sales Executives (SE), Account Managers (AM), and collaborates across functions within the business. The GDAC Strategist innovates and improves upon processes across the Growth Driver ecosystem to simplify and accelerate growth. They report to the Growth Driver Activation Leader under Sales Activation Leadership.
Your key responsibilities
You will be responsible for executing GTM activities including acceleration sessions and/or campaigns (i.e.: “growth plays”) with a focus on simplifying navigating the growth driver ecosystem for our account teams. You’ll be expected to serve as a knowledge hub for growth drivers and connect the dots across the ecosystem to simplify growth driver activation for teams. You will work primarily with Service Line Leadership, Sector Leadership, Sales Executives, Account Managers and GCSPs, co-develop the growth driver strategy account strategy, develop and guide the execution of action plans, and facilitate growth driver strategy sessions or campaigns. You are primarily responsible for building net new qualified pipeline.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- 7-10 plus years of sales /solution activation or similar relevant experience focused on go-to-market and sales enablement.
- Consumer and Retail experience
- Strong understanding of solution strategist and deployment.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Effective influencing and relationship building skills with executive presence.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and sound organizational skills.
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree (emphasis in Business or Marketing preferred).
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
- Strong business/commercial acumen and an understanding of major industry sector trends.
- Ability to travel (approximately 10-20%)

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $96,300 to $180,100. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $115,600 to $204,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
