Job Title: AI Finance - Senior - Tech Consulting - Location Open
Whole industries have been disrupted and transformed in recent years by changing technologies, advanced analytics and the need for better insight. EY is helping businesses realize the value they can gain from their IT investments. We deliver exceptional client service — providing advice on how technology, finance process efficiency and enterprise intelligence contribute to performance improvement, as well as how AI can act as a multiplying effect during major program transformations.
The opportunity
The AI Finance Senior will be building the future of AI-powered finance solutions—from autonomous variance analysis and intelligent forecasting to agentic workflow automation. This role sits at the intersection of consulting impact and true product engineering: your code doesn't disappear after a project ends—it ships, scales, and improves over time. You’ll work at the forefront of generative and agentic AI while learning how these technologies solve real finance problems—combining the innovation of a tech startup with the scale and impact of EY.
In this role, you will interact with business stakeholders to evaluate business models, processes, and operations. You will gather, understand, and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications. Your expertise in specific technology platforms will be crucial in providing in-depth analysis related to implementation, customization, and optimization.
Your key responsibilities
The AI Finance Senior will work closely with finance, IT, and data science teams to develop and deploy agentic AI solutions that transform finance processes. You'll build autonomous AI agents and intelligent workflows using Machine Learning, Gen AI, and modern agentic frameworks to deliver scalable, production-grade applications for leading global companies.
As a Senior Platform Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will spend your time engaging with clients, analyzing their requirements, and collaborating with technical teams to design and deliver effective system architecture solutions. This role presents exciting challenges and opportunities for growth, as you will help clients maximize their investment in technology platforms through effective use and continuous improvement. Regular travel may be required to meet with clients and participate in project activities.

Skills and attributes for success

- Building AI applications (React/Next.js front end, Python back end) integrating ML, GenAI, and agentic AI for finance use cases using state-of-the-art LLM frameworks
- Designing future-state Finance processes with agentic capabilities, including agent catalogs and hierarchies deployed across process areas
- Developing autonomous AI agents that orchestrate tools and execute complex workflows including data reconciliation, anomaly detection, root cause analysis, and automated report generation
- Supporting platform and data architecture strategy leveraging our Financial Data Intelligence (FDI) platform that integrates with LLM models and enables the agent workforce
- Designing and implementing data pipelines connecting finance applications to EPM systems, ERP platforms, and analytics environments
- Prototyping and validating new capabilities using emerging agentic AI frameworks through rapid experimentation
- Collaborating with product managers, data scientists, and finance domain experts to deliver client-facing solutions

- Proficiency in technology business architecture frameworks and requirements definition.
