Client service is focused on providing Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Knowledge support to our clients around the world. The teams enable account teams worldwide to provide seamless, high-quality, value-added support, helping deliver exceptional client service.
Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.
Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment, technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.
The Opportunity
The Senior Manager - Sales Transformation will lead the development and growth of the sales transformation in Customer -MSS practice. This role combines business development, solution innovation, and delivery excellence. You will advise senior executives on sales strategy, channel effectiveness, and commercial performance improvement, while leading complex transformation programs that improve pipeline conversion, sales productivity, and revenue realization. Additionally, you will build and mentor a high-performing team aligned with business projections.
Your Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Market Leadership
- Own the sales transformation pipeline for advisory and implementation opportunities; drive revenue growth through strategic sales transformation engagements.
- Build and grow client relationships; lead proposals, RFP responses, and executive-level presentations to accelerate deal closure and achieve revenue targets.
- Develop and execute GTM strategies for sales transformation solutions across sectors and market segments.
- Design innovative sales transformation offerings aligned with client priorities and market trends.
- Contribute to thought leadership through publications, point-of-view papers, webinars, and industry forums on sales effectiveness and commercial transformation.
- Keep abreast of evolving sales models, channel strategies, buyer expectations, and digital selling trends that may affect client growth strategies.
Client Engagement & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end sales transformation programs from strategy through implementation, ensuring alignment with client business objectives.
- Assess current-state sales processes, operating models, coverage models, funnel effectiveness, and performance management practices to identify improvement opportunities.
- Design and help implement sales operating models, account planning frameworks, incentive structures, governance mechanisms, and performance dashboards.
- Drive sales process standardization and enablement initiatives across lead management, opportunity management, forecasting, territory planning, and pipeline governance.
- Support adoption of AI tools and CRM-enabled workflows to improve sales discipline, productivity, and customer engagement.
- Develop business cases and financial models to quantify revenue uplift, productivity gains, and cost-to-sell improvements.
- Ensure delivery excellence across scope, timeline, and budget.
- Implement solutions that deliver sustainable growth, improved conversion, and enhanced sales effectiveness.
Technology & Innovation
- Enable teams to leverage analytics, automation, and AI-enabled insights to improve forecasting accuracy, lead prioritization, and sales productivity.
- Stay ahead of technology trends shaping sales transformation, including CRM optimization, sales enablement platforms, and intelligent automation.
Leadership & People Development
- Manage multidisciplinary teams and ensure high-quality delivery across engagements.
- Mentor and coach team members to build future leaders in sales transformation and commercial excellence.
Skills and attributes for success
Ideally, you’ll also
- Demonstrate experience in sales operating model transformation, including incentive effectiveness, territory planning, and pipeline optimization.
- Have exposure to digital selling capabilities, AI-enabled sales insights, and advanced sales performance analytics.
- Bring industry experience across professional services, technology, manufacturing, consumer products, and other B2B sectors.
What we look for
- 10-14 years of experience in sales transformation, commercial excellence, revenue growth strategy, or sales operations
- Consulting experience is desired
- Proven track record in designing and implementing sales transformation programs and performance improvement initiatives.
- Strong business development and client relationship management skills.
Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, sales analytics, and sales process redesign.
