The opportunity : Manager-National-Tech Consulting-CNS - TC - Mumbai/ Delhi/ BangaloreService Line: Technology ConsultingReporting To: Chief Operating Officer – Technology ConsultingRole Purpose:The Manager – Finance Operations will serve as a key finance partner to the Technology Consulting leadership team, supporting financial planning, performance management, and commercial governance across multiple technology practices. The role combines FP&A rigor with deep understanding of consulting engagement economics to ensure revenue accuracy, margin discipline, and strong cash flow outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Financial Planning & Performance ManagementLead annual planning, rolling forecasts, and periodic outlooks for the Technology Consulting service line.Track and analyze revenue, costs, margins, and profitability across practices within the Technology Consulting service line.Provide structured financial insights and dashboards to the COO and practice leadership.Revenue Recognition & Commercial OversightEnsure accurate revenue accrual and recognition across multiple delivery models, including Time & Material, Fixed Price, Loan Staff, and System Integration engagements.Review engagement-level financials to assess revenue correctness and identify over/under-accruals.Recommend and support revenue write-ups or write-downs where appropriate, in alignment with accounting policies.Engagement Economics & Margin AnalysisMonitor engagement economics including gross margin, net margin, cost absorption, and variance drivers.Identify margin leakage and work with delivery teams to improve financial performance.Apply strong accounting and controlling principles to support commercial decision-making.Working Capital & Cash FlowMonitor Accounts Receivable (A/R), Revenue WIP, and unbilled revenue on a regular basis.Flag exceptions, risks, and delays in billing or collections.Partner with delivery and commercial teams to improve cash flow and billing discipline.Systems, Controls & GovernanceLeverage financial and ERP systems to extract, validate, and analyze financial data.Ensure data accuracy and adherence to finance processes and controls.Support continuous improvement of finance operations, reporting, and analytics.Qualifications & ExperienceChartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory6–10 years of relevant experience in consulting, professional services, or technology services organizationsStrong background in FP&A, commercial finance, or finance operationsProven ability to partner with senior stakeholders and challenge financial assumptions constructivelyCore CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDeep understanding of technology consulting delivery modelsHigh attention to detail with a commercial mindsetEffective communication and stakeholder management skills What we offer
