Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate security controls (SAST, SCA, secrets scanning, container scanning) into pipelines to enforce DevSecOps practices across teams.
  • Implement automation for build, test, deploy, and environment provisioning using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
  • Collaborate with development, cloud, and security teams to integrate platforms, services, and tools to achieve seamless software delivery workflows.
  • Build and maintain scripts, templates, and automation utilities (Python, Bash, PowerShell, YAML) for DevOps and security integration tasks.
  • Support containerization and orchestration initiatives using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native services.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance, ensuring reliability, security, and compliance.
  • Contribute to DevSecOps governance, toolchain integration patterns, and standardized automation frameworks.

Qualifications:

  • Up to 8 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, pipeline engineering, or related automation roles.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Hands-on expertise with security tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, Veracode, Snyk, Trivy, Aqua, Prisma Cloud, or equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and cloud-native integration services.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and YAML-based configuration for automation.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and container security practices.
  • Understanding of version control (Git), branching strategies, and artifact repositories (Nexus, Artifactory).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; DevSecOps/Cloud certifications are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience integrating observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
  • Knowledge of security frameworks: OWASP Top 10, CIS benchmarks, Zero Trust principles.
  • Familiarity with API integration patterns for DevOps tools (webhooks, service connectors, automation APIs).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to debug pipeline, environment, or dependency issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with developers, operations, and security stakeholders in agile environments.
