AEM Commerce API Developer - Mesh/API Builder

 

Experience: Min 5 years of hands-on experience

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Design and configure API Mesh architecture to unify Adobe Commerce, AEM, PIM, ERP, OMS, and payment gateway data sources through GraphQL schema federation
  • Develop custom GraphQL resolvers and transformations in Node.js to aggregate, enrich, and optimize data from multiple systems
  • Integrate Adobe Commerce SaaS services (Live Search, Product Recommendations, Catalog Service) with API Mesh for headless commerce experiences
  • Implement real-time event-driven integrations using Adobe I/O Events and webhooks for order processing, inventory sync, and customer data flow
  • Configure enterprise system integrations with PIM, ERP, OMS, and payment gateways using REST, SOAP, and GraphQL handlers with proper error handling
  • Optimize API performance and security through caching strategies, rate limiting, OAuth 2.0/JWT authentication, and SSO integration
  • Build unified APIs for AEM-Commerce fusion enabling headless SPAs/PWAs to consume both content and product data seamlessly

 

 

Qualification:

 

  • Strong hands-on experience with Node.js/JavaScript for custom resolver development. 
  • Strong experience in API development and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with integration patterns and external system interactions. 
  • Deep understanding of GraphQL schema federation, stitching, and optimization techniques. 
  • Proficiency in implementing OAuth 2.0, JWT, and SSO authentication protocols. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
