As part of our EY-GDS D&A (Data and Analytics) team, we help our clients solve complex business challenges with the help of data and technology. We dive deep into data to extract the greatest value and discover opportunities in key business and functions like Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing and Auto, Supply Chain, and Finance.

The opportunity

Lead and manage the end-to-end setup of Data Migration factory, ensuring large scale data migration program across multiple systems and platforms.

Your key responsibilities:

• Define, design and implement the Data Migration Factory strategy, conceptual / physical / logical architectures, and Governance.
• Lead and manage data migration projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Establish standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices for migration processes.
• Drive continuous improvement and scalability of the migration factory model.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against these plans.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope.
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the migration process.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with data migration projects.
• Communicate project status, issues, and resolutions to stakeholders and senior management.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in data migration programs and data integration technologies.
• Strong knowledge of ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, AWS Glue) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Expertise in data governance, quality, and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent project management skills (Agile/Waterfall), with ability to manage large teams and budgets.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Understanding the Banking domain including core and non-core banking terminologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 12+ years in data management or migration leadership roles.
• Certifications in Informatica, AWS/Azure, Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2).
• Experience in setting up migration factories and performing data migration in large-scale data programs.
