Role Summary

We are seeking a FrontEnd Mobile Architect with deep expertise across iOS, Android, and cross-platform technologies to define scalable mobile architectures, enforce engineering standards, and guide teams across the end-to-end mobile app development lifecycle. The architect must demonstrate strong adherence to SOLID principles, declarative UI paradigms, modern state management, and enterprise-grade mobile security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, modular, high-performance mobile applications, leveraging deep understanding of declarative UI paradigms, state management, and ecosystem integrations.
• Define frontend architecture across Swift/SwiftUI, Kotlin/Compose, React Native, and Flutter.
• Architect clean, maintainable, testable solutions using Clean Architecture, MVVM-C, VIPER, Redux/MVI, and modularization strategies.
• Build and maintain reusable components, UI frameworks, shared libraries, and accelerators.
• Stay up to date with latest mobile technologies, platform updates, frameworks, tools and proactively impart knowledge to engineering teams.
• Govern code quality, enforce SOLID principles, SonarQube static analysis, secure coding practices, and dependency management.
• Ensure excellence in performance tuning, app startup, memory usage, offline support, responsiveness, and accessibility.
• Provide architectural alignment with backend APIs, data models, integration flows, and authentication (OAuth2.0/JWT).
• Review major PRs, architecture decisions, and ensure alignment with Mobile Practice guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with backend, security, cloud, DevOps, QA, and UX teams for seamless end-to-end delivery.

Required Skills

• Strong architectural and hands-on experience in Swift/SwiftUI, Kotlin/Compose, and React Native or Flutter.
• Deep expertise in SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, state management, modularization, and scalable system design.
• Expert-level understanding of concurrency models:
  • Swift async/await + Actors
  • Kotlin Coroutines + Flow
  • Understanding of JavaScript event loop limitations and cross-platform threading models
• Strong command over performance optimization, rendering pipelines, caching, concurrency, and UI frameworks.
• Expertise in REST/GraphQL/gRPC, API design, and offline-first patterns.
• Enterprise-grade security expertise:
  • Certificate/SSL pinning
  • Jailbreak/root detection
  • Secure storage
  • Encryption
  • ProGuard/R8 rules and obfuscation
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, app release processes, and build automation.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience working on RFPs, presales solutioning, and technical proposals.
• Ability to create architecture diagrams using draw.io, Visio, or similar tools.
• Strong PPT and presentation skills for architecture storytelling.
• Exposure to analytics, crash monitoring, A/B testing, and feature flags.
• Familiarity with enterprise MDM/MAM systems.
• Exposure to AI/ML-driven mobile features or connected app ecosystems.
