The opportunity

You will help clients determine the best way to design and develop state of the art applications by leveraging user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).

Your key responsibilities

• Work effectively as a Senior Developer / Team lead, share responsibility, provide support, maintain communication and update managers on progress of tasks
• Continuously strive towards exceeding client & team expectations and work on increasingly complex assignments
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client/onsite personnel
• Ensure on-time delivery of allocated tasks
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and provide status updates
• Participate in design, development, QA, deployment and support as require
• Compliance to EY policies and procedures like Timesheet / Leaves management etc.
• Ensuring adherence to quality protocols specified for the project
• Update technical architecture/design and unit test cases and ensure high quality deliverables
• Building of Technical Assets and Accelerators

Skills and attributes for success

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
• Knowledge of Java/J2EE platform is a plus
• Understanding of relational database and hands-on experience in PL/SQL
• Should cross skill and cross train as per the business requirements.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 3-5 years of ReactJS development knowledge React.JS
• Worked in at least 2-3 end to end React. JS project implementations.
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in React.JS workflows
• Good knowledge on REST APIs, RDBMS concepts
• Good knowledge in Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Working knowledge of project implementation methodologies
• Level1/2 certified React JS

Ideally, you should also have

• B.E/B.Tech (Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunications, Comp. Science)/MCA with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience with Big 4 or panelled SI/ ITeS companies
• Good knowledge on UI/UX & Java components
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• Handled a small team of 2-3 Junior developers
