The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Temenos Transact Integration Developer to join our GDS - Banking and Capital Markets practice and play a key role in delivering complex core banking and payments integration programs. This opportunity offers hands‑on ownership of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high‑performance integrations across Temenos Transact, Payments Hub, channels, and external systems. The role will work closely with architects, delivery teams, and business stakeholders to enable end‑to‑end transformation through modern integration patterns, event‑driven architectures, and API‑led connectivity in a large‑scale, enterprise banking environment.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement end‑to‑end integration solutions for Temenos Transact (T24) using Temenos Integration Framework (TIF), Interaction Framework (IRIS), Outbox Event Streaming, APIs, and messaging platforms.
- Build and support integrations between Temenos Transact, Payments Hub (TPH), channels, middleware, and external systems.
- Develop and maintain REST/SOAP services, synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns, and event‑driven architectures.
- Ensure integrations are scalable, secure, resilient, and aligned with enterprise and regulatory requirements.
- Own integration delivery across requirements, design, development, SIT, UAT, cutover, and production rollout phases.
- Collaborate with solution architects, functional teams, and platform teams to ensure integration designs align with overall solution architecture.
- Lead integration impact assessments and manage dependencies across upstream and downstream systems.
- Support data migration, reconciliation, and interface validation activities.
- Support integration with payments platforms, including Temenos Payments Hub, SWIFT, real‑time payments, RTGS, ACH, and ISO 20022 flows.
- Design and implement STP‑enabled integration flows, exception handling, retries, and reconciliation mechanisms.
- Ensure consistency across message formats, canonical models, and integration standards.
- Provide advanced support for production integration issues, including root cause analysis and long‑term remediation.
- Use logging, monitoring, and tracing tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Tivoli, or equivalent to ensure operational stability.
- Ensure integrations meet non‑functional requirements such as performance, availability, and auditability.
- Act as an integration SME, advising business, delivery, and architecture stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide junior integration developers and offshore teams.
- Participate in architecture reviews, design forums, and governance meetings.
- Support pre‑sales activities, including integration solutioning, estimations, and RFP inputs (manager level).
Skills and attributes for success
Core Technical & Integration Skills
- Strong experience in Temenos Transact (T24) integration landscape.
- Hands‑on expertise with:
- Temenos Integration Framework (TIF)
- Interaction Framework (IRIS)
- Outbox & Event Streaming
- REST / SOAP APIs
- MQ / messaging platforms
- JBOSS / application servers
- Sound understanding of TAFJ / jBASE, EB services, and T24 data structures (for integration context).
- Experience integrating T24 with TPH, middleware, channels, and external systems.
- Knowledge of ISO 20022, SWIFT messaging, and payment integration patterns.
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of UNIX/Linux environments.
Delivery & Platform Expertise
- Proven experience delivering large‑scale integration programs in core banking environments.
- Exposure to cloud‑native architectures and hybrid integration models (AWS, Azure, GCP preferred).
- Experience working in Agile / SAFe delivery environments.
- Strong understanding of non‑functional requirements, security, and compliance standards.
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills
- Ability to influence design and delivery decisions across teams
- Proactive problem‑solving mindset with high ownership
- Comfortable operating in high‑pressure, production‑critical environments
- Passion for building clean, maintainable, and future‑ready integration solutions
- Mentoring mindset and ability to build high‑performing integration teams (manager level)
Preferred Qualifications
- Temenos certification (Transact / Integration / Architecture)
- Experience working with Tier‑1 banks or large financial institutions
- Exposure to regulatory and compliance‑heavy environments
- Experience in modernization, microservices, or event‑driven transformation programs
