Temenos T24 Tester -Private Banking

Job Summary: 

Business Analyst/Tester will be responsible for analysing business requirements, and Functional Specification Documents, User Stories, Business Processes, and models via Process Led Workshops sessions, defining test cases and conducting testing activities to ensure the successful implementation and functionality of Temenos T24 securities, Lending (AA), Forex, Payments (TPH), Cash, Integration. The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, developers, and end-users to optimize trading operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Mandatory Requirements

• Selected Candidates should be willing to work out of client location in Chennai for 5 days a week
• Working experience of Temenos T24 securities/Private banking functionality

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and implement functional test plans and test cases based on system understanding and analysis of requirements
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, record, and track defects through to resolution.
• Communicate project statuses, issues, and risks to stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Help with expanding the current test cases to ensure complete test coverage of the System.
• Interact with product management, project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives
• Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation function
• Involve in Test Case reviews and update the test cases accordingly
• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
• Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate, using Quality Center or similar tools/means
• Act as a first escalation point for all stakeholders, including internal testing team escalation
• Provide support during the implementation phase, including data migration and system integration.
• Coordinate with the technical team to ensure proper system setup and performance.
• Train end-users on the functionalities and best practices of the system.

Qualifications:

• 4-9 years of hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance activities including functional, regression, smoke, system testing.
• Banking domain knowledge in Temenos T24
• Experience in the entire Test life cycle processes, quality metrics, tools (test management tools(Quality Center/ALM etc),
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools would be preferable
• Experience in SDLC and agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of industry best practices in software development and Quality Assurance policies and practices
• Ability to work effectively in fast paced multi-team test development
• Excellent cross-platform analysis and troubleshooting ability
• Demonstrated adaptability to rapidly adjust to changing tasks
• Excellent written & verbal communication, and analytical skills.
• Experience working in remote/virtual teams
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.

Your client responsibilities

• Need to work as a team lead in one or more Temenos T24 projects.
• Interface and communicate with the onsite coordinators
• Completion of assigned tasks on time and regular status reporting to the lead
• Regular status reporting to the Manager and onsite coordinators
• Interface with the customer representatives as and when needed
• Willing to travel to the customers locations on need basis

Preferred Skills:

• TCCP Certifications in T24
• Certifications such as CFA, FRM, or similar qualifications relevant to derivatives trading.
• Proficiency with automated testing tools, test management tools and defect tracking systems.
• Knowledge of additional T24 modules, Private banking modules or banking operations.
• Experience working with T24 EMEIA clients
