T24 Solution Architect – Payments-Manager

Job Summary:

Temenos TPH (Temenos Payments Hub) Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of payment solutions within Temenos environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Temenos TPH architecture, integration frameworks, and payment processing modules, along with strong technical leadership skills. This role involves defining solution architecture, ensuring scalability and compliance, and guiding development teams through complex payment transformation projects.

Mandatory requirements:

• Selected candidates should be willing to work out of client location in Chennai for 3 to 5 days a week

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and implement end-to-end Temenos TPH solutions for payment processing and integration with core banking systems.
• Define architecture standards, integration patterns, and best practices for Temenos Payments Hub deployments.
• Possess a strong understanding of global payment processing and end-to-end payment workflows, including SWIFT and ISO 20022 message processing, as well as clearing and settlement systems such as RTGS, ACH, RTP, CHAPS, FEDWIRE, CHIPS, SEPA, Step2, Target2, Faster Payments, G3, IMPS, UAEFT, and others. Expertise in direct debits, credit transfers, and mandate management is essential.
• Demonstrate experience in payment interface data mapping and solution design for complex payment ecosystems.
• Lead the implementation of end-to-end payment systems, including payment gateways, ATM systems, switches, and retail payment solutions.
• Drive successful implementation and/or upgrade of Temenos products, both from a technical and functional perspective.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure alignment with project objectives
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and infrastructure teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, security policies, and governance frameworks during solution design.
• Optimize payment workflows for high performance, scalability, and resilience across multi-company, multi-application environments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development teams on TPH, TAFJ, and related technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to payment processing and integration.
• Support SIT/UAT phases and ensure smooth delivery of payment solutions within project timelines
• Strong client-facing experience and requirement gathering

• Familiarity with COB (Close of Business) and Services Framework in Temenos
• Design Studio, GitLab, JBOSS, SQL Developer
• Temenos Unit Test Framework
• Job schedulers (e.g., AWA)
• Logging & monitoring tools (Tivoli, Dynatrace, Splunk)
• Performance tuning and database management

Your Client Responsibilities

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with onsite coordinators to ensure alignment on payment solution requirements, progress, and deliverables.
• Act as a key contributor in one or more Temenos TPH implementation projects, ensuring timely and accurate execution of assigned solution design and integration tasks.
• Complete assigned architecture and design activities within agreed timelines and provide regular status updates to the technical lead.
• Share progress reports consistently with project managers and onsite coordinators to maintain transparency and mitigate risks.
• Engage with customer representatives when required to clarify payment processing requirements or resolve integration-related issues.
