And we’re counting on your unique voice and perspective to help EY become even better, too. Join us and build an exceptional experience for yourself, and a better working world for all.

The Opportunity

EY's Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) practice helps organizations improve and operate third-party risk programs through program transformation, technology enablement, risk intelligence, assessments and managed services. As a TPRM Technology Delivery Staff in the EY Service Delivery Center (SDC) in Charlotte, you will be a hands-on member of client delivery teams supporting the deployment, configuration, testing and ongoing operation of TPRM technology solutions.

This role is designed for an early-career professional who wants to build experience at the intersection of TPRM, technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and data. Working under the direction of experienced team members, you will help translate business requirements into configured workflows, questionnaires, control content, reports and integrations across platforms such as ProcessUnity, ServiceNow, Aravo or comparable solutions. You will also support data analysis, external risk intelligence, user support and selected TPRM operational activities.

Your key responsibilities

  • Support the implementation, configuration and ongoing administration of client TPRM technology platforms under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Assist with translating documented business and functional requirements into configurable workflows, questionnaires, risk-scoring logic, control frameworks, notifications, user roles, dashboards and reports.
  • Configure and maintain platform components supporting key TPRM processes, including third-party onboarding, inherent risk, due diligence, risk assessments, ongoing monitoring, issue management, remediation and offboarding.
  • Support system testing activities by developing test scenarios, executing test scripts, documenting results, logging defects and validating corrections before deployment.
  • Assist with data preparation, cleansing, mapping, migration and validation to support platform implementations, enhancements and ongoing operations.
  • Support integrations of external risk intelligence and other data sources, monitor data feeds and help investigate data-quality or processing exceptions.
  • Develop and maintain vendor-level and portfolio-level dashboards, metrics and reports that provide stakeholders with timely risk and operational insights.
  • Provide day-to-day user support, triage platform questions and defects, document issues clearly, and coordinate resolution with functional and technical team members.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, configuration workbooks, procedures, job aids, release notes, training materials and other delivery artifacts.
  • Participate in requirements workshops, status meetings and solution demonstrations; capture decisions, actions and follow-up items accurately.
  • Use the designated TPRM AI enabler and other approved AI tools to support requirements analysis, configuration documentation, testing, data analysis, reporting and quality checks, while validating outputs and following applicable EY and client requirements.
  • Apply foundational knowledge of TPRM domains and relevant risk expectations to help confirm that configured solutions support the intended business process and governance requirements.
  • Perform selected TPRM operational activities, including assessment or evidence-review support, when needed to understand processes, validate solutions or meet engagement requirements.
  • Complete assigned deliverables on time, raise questions and risks promptly, incorporate review feedback and contribute to continuous improvement across client engagements.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Foundational knowledge of the TPRM lifecycle, including due diligence, inherent risk, assessments, ongoing monitoring, issue management and remediation.
  • Interest and aptitude in configuring, testing and supporting enterprise technology platforms and data-driven workflows.
  • Ability to understand documented business requirements and translate them into clearly defined system or process tasks with guidance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to data quality, configuration accuracy and detail.
  • Comfort working with structured data, spreadsheets, reports, dashboards and basic data-mapping concepts.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document issues and explain work clearly to team members and client stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and relationship-building skills across risk, operations, technology and delivery teams.
  • Curiosity, learning agility and willingness to develop proficiency in new TPRM platforms, automation capabilities, external data sources and AI-enabled tools.
  • Ability to manage assigned tasks and competing deadlines in a fast-paced, team-based delivery environment.
  • Good judgment in following established procedures, validating work and escalating questions or issues when appropriate.

To qualify for the role, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • A minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in TPRM, governance, risk and compliance, information security, technology implementation, business analysis, data analysis or a related field.
  • Experience supporting technology platforms, system implementations, workflow configuration, testing, reporting, data management or operational risk processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Teams.
  • Availability to work from the EY Service Delivery Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, consistent with role and business requirements.
  • Flexibility to support client teams operating across multiple time zones and to travel occasionally when engagement needs are required.

Ideally, you'll also have:

  • A degree in information systems, cybersecurity, computer science, data analytics, business, risk management, supply chain management, engineering or a related discipline.
  • Exposure to TPRM or governance, risk and compliance platforms such as ProcessUnity, ServiceNow, Aravo, Archer or comparable solutions.
  • Experience with requirements documentation, workflow design, user acceptance testing, defect management, data migration or platform administration.
  • Experience developing reports or dashboards using Excel, Power BI or comparable tools; familiarity with SQL, APIs or low-code automation is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with external risk intelligence providers or data integrations used in third-party monitoring.
  • Familiarity with common risk and control frameworks, standards or regulatory expectations, such as NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, OCC guidance or comparable requirements.
  • Experience using generative AI or other AI-enabled tools in a professional or academic setting, including prompt development, output validation and responsible human review.
  • A relevant foundational certification or credential, such as ServiceNow, TPRM Platforms, CRISC, CTPRP, CTPRA, CISA or a comparable credential.
