The opportunity
We are seeking a forward-thinking SAP Senior Consultant to join our Technology Consulting team. Collaborating with external clients and internal teams, you will use your strong proficiency in SAP technology to help clients achieve improved outcomes and lasting results. Harnessing our expertise in tax, assurance, transaction and risk, and by utilizing your capabilities to implement SAP, you will pave the way for innovative solutions.

 

As a Senior Technology Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will interact with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that newly implemented technology solutions meet their needs. Your collaboration with technical teams will be essential in designing and delivering effective system architecture solutions.

 

Your key responsibilities
In this role, you will spend your time engaging with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery. You will face challenges that require analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, providing you with opportunities to learn and grow in a dynamic environment. This position may require regular travel to meet with clients, allowing you to build relationships and understand their needs better. Key responsibilities include:

  • Interacting with business stakeholders to evaluate business models and processes.
  • Analyzing newly implemented technology solutions to verify they meet business requirements.
  • Collaborating with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions.

  • Assisting with the execution of comprehensive transformation programs, ranging from strategy formulation to operational implementation.
  • Supporting Finance business teams reimagine their target state with the enablement of modern technology capabilities.
  • Shaping the design of Finance operating models, introducing finance processes, and cutting-edge digital finance capabilities with a focus on SAP Collections and Disbursements module.
  • Collaborating with key business stakeholders to documenting business requirements and performing FIT-GAP analyses.
  • Supporting the project team in the development high-level solution design
  • Configuring SAP-enabled solutions and completing relevant design and configuration for the solution.
  • Testing of the solution and supporting the defect break-fix cycle.
  • Consistently delivering high-quality client services, monitoring progress, managing risks and keeping key stakeholders abreast of progress and anticipated outcomes.
  • Collaborating with international teams on multi-disciplinary global business transformations.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in technology business requirements definition and analysis.
  • Experience in system configuration design and technology cost-benefit analysis.
  • Ability to manage client relationships and communicate with impact.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A Bachelor’s degree.
  • Typically, no less than 2 - 4 years relevant experience.
  • 3 or more years of hands-on end-to-end SAP Collections and Disbursements (FS-CD) implementation experience with detailed understanding of Master Data, Invoicing, Payments and Dunning processes configuration in the system.
  • 2 years of implementation experience in SAP S/4HANA migration projects.
  • A minimum of 1 years of relevant experience at a financial services company or comparable industry experience.
  • Basic understanding of core insurance processes (Policy Administration, Underwriting, claims processing, billing etc.) and standard components of the Finance Technology Architecture (Data warehouse, subledgers, general ledger, reporting tools, etc.).
  • An understanding of digitalization in financial processes and current leading tools and enablers.
  • Ability to build and manage relationships effectively.
  • Learning agility.
  • A flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40-60%

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience in project management and tracking deliverable completion.
  • Familiarity with client engagement and RFP processes.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • SAP certification(s).
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a financial services company or comparable industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of ledger and subledger architecture components.
  • Experience in process design and mapping.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution design.
  • Exposure to data modelling and reporting engagements.
  • A post-graduate or graduate degree in computer science, engineering, accounting, finance or a related field.

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.  The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $101,500 to $186,000.  The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $121,700 to $211,300.  Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
