Senior Associate - Supply Chain & Operations

 

The opportunity

As Performance Improvement Senior - Supply Chain & Operations, you'll contribute technically to Supply Chain & Operations client engagements and internal projects. An important part of your role will be to actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships. You'll also identify potential business opportunities for Ernst & Young within existing engagements, and escalate these as appropriate. Similarly, you'll anticipate and identify risks within engagements and raise any issues with senior members of the team.

Your key responsibilities

 

 

Client responsibilities

  • Participate in Supply Chain & Operations engagements
  • Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress
  • Help prepare reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel
  • Build strong internal relationships within Ernst & Young Advisory Services and with other services across the organization

People responsibilities

  • Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff
  • Contribute to people-related including recruiting and retaining Supply Chain & Operations professionals
  • Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills of staff
  • Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Undergraduate degree in economics, business or engineering/Diploma in Logistics and Supply chain Management, Relevant degree in Supply Chain.

 

Technical skills requirements

 

  • Source to pay process improvement
  • Operational inventory management and logistics knowledge
  • Qualitative and quantitative business analysis
  • Excel skills and Data analysis
  • Powerpoint and presentation skills
  • Process mapping and supply chain business modelling

Design and build dashboards

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Demonstrated track record with a blue chip consulting organization and/or a blue chip organization
  • Strong academic record including a degree
