Senior Manager - Technology Strategy and Transformation - Technology Consulting
The opportunity
As our Senior Manager - Technology Strategy and Transformation, you'll lead the design and delivery of complex technology-enabled transformation programs for Australian Federal Government clients. You'll shape technology strategies, operating models and transformation roadmaps, advise senior stakeholders and oversee multidisciplinary teams across complex engagements. You'll also contribute to proposals, client relationships and the continued growth of our Canberra Technology Consulting practice.
This is a hybrid position based in Canberra - Ngambri. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Your key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technology strategy and transformation engagements, translating Federal Government priorities into practical roadmaps, operating models and delivery plans.
- Provide trusted advice to senior client stakeholders while directing multiple workstreams and maintaining accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk.
- Lead and develop high-performing teams, contribute to proposals and business development, and help grow the Canberra Technology Consulting practice.
Skills and attributes for success
- Due to the nature of the Australian Federal Government work, this role requires Australian citizenship.
- You must be eligible and willing to obtain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance at the level required for the role.
- Significant experience leading complex technology strategy, operating model, architecture or transformation engagements in consulting, government or another complex environment.
Ideally, you'll also have the skills and attributes below but don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes. We're interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.
- Experience working with Australian Federal Government clients or within a government environment, with Defence or national security experience viewed favourably.
- Strong technology grounding across strategy, enterprise architecture, governance, operating models and large-scale transformation delivery.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, lead multidisciplinary teams and turn complex issues into clear decisions and executable plans.
- A commercial mindset with experience contributing to proposals, client account growth and the development of people and practice capability.
