What’s in it for you?

We are seeking a Manager to lead and support our Process and Controls teams to deliver high-quality services that enhance government accountability, efficiency and effectiveness.
This role is about more than just audits and controls; it's about leading a team that plays a critical role in optimising government operations. Your leadership will drive the enhancement of services delivered to citizens, safeguard public resources, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic insights for improved governance and service delivery.

- A strong sense of curiosity and a passion for solving problems.
- A strong grasp of risk and control principles and a keen understanding of public sector challenges and opportunities.
- A proven track record in leading and delivering challenging projects.
- Knowledge of risk management, control frameworks, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of audit quality and integrity.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to manage and inspire a team of professionals through all phases of the audit lifecycle (or similar projects).
- Experience in developing and executing internal audit strategies and roadmaps, or a keen interest to learn.
- A consultative approach to building client relationships, with a focus on understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Australian citizenship, with a willingness to be based in or relocate to Canberra.
It's great, but not required, if you have:
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CIA, CISA).
- Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, public administration, or a related field.
