Are you a passionate technologist looking to shape the future of Australia?

EY is offering an unparalleled opportunity for budding technologists who would like to one day become ICT Architects (Solution/Enterprise) to join our Technology, Strategy & Transformation sub service line within Technology Consulting.

About the Role:

We are seeking junior technologists who are passionate about technology and possess a natural ability to conceptualise complex problems and communicate effectively with clients. This role is an invitation to those who aspire to grow into the world of ICT architecture, offering a nurturing environment where your skills in problem analysis and cross-domain thinking will be developed and valued.

EY will guide you through the intricate landscape of technology architecture, providing the tools and experiences necessary to evolve from a junior technologist into a proficient solution architect. You will be immersed in a collaborative setting, where your contributions to designing, evaluating, and implementing innovative solutions will shape the future of our clients' technological capabilities.

It is important to note that this role will require you to obtain at minimum a Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) Australian Government Security Clearance which can be onerous on an individual. Please review the eligibility and suitability requirements before applying.

Key Responsibilities:

As a junior technologist in our technology consulting service line at EY, you will embark on an exciting journey filled with diverse experiences and opportunities for growth. Your role will involve:

  • Collaborating with a dynamic team of experts to design and develop bespoke technology solutions that support and drive our clients' business strategies.
  • Engaging in the meticulous analysis, innovative design, and effective delivery of key ICT systems that are vital to our clients' operational success.
  • Contributing to the enhancement of EY's solutions and methodologies.
  • Absorbing and applying industry-leading practices in enterprise and solution architecture, as well as technology management, to build a robust foundation for your consulting career.
  • Playing a pivotal role in devising strategies that elevate service resilience and optimise operational efficiency, delivering tangible benefits to our clients.
  • Facilitating client workshops, shaping proposals, and being part of a broader technology consulting capability.

What We're Looking For:

  • A strong passion for technology and interest in designing technology solutions which solve real world problems.
  • Interest in and/or exposure to both traditional ICT environments and cloud technologies.
  • A passion for technology and a keen interest in Defence, National Security, Intelligence & Enforcement.
  • A willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills and a talent for working well with others.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality work that makes a real difference.

Ideally, you’ll also have (but not required):

  • Bachelor of Information Communication Technology (ICT) and/or related degree

Within the first 12 months you will be expected to:

  • Become Azure Solution Architect Certified
