Join our Financial Services Office (FSO) and you will be aligned to key industry groups including asset management and private equity, banking and capital markets, and insurance, we provide integrated assurance, consulting, strategy & transactions, and tax services to our clients.
As a market segment of the FSO, the BBC includes the Bahamas, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, and Cayman Islands.
Your key responsibilities:
- EY is using the Mercury program. All finance modules are on SAP so the individual should be aware of ERP/ SAP usage.
- Capable of managing the AP functions independently and can participate and lead various improvement activities over the course of time.
- Develop a clear understanding of and adherence to all finance policies and processes.
- Take responsibility for ensuring that suppliers invoices, and expenses are correctly coded and approved.
- Process and check Petty cash
- Maintaining the AP outlook inbox and ensure all queries are dealt with effectively and efficiently
- To ensure that all supplier statements are reconciled on a regular basis
- Support with monthly accruals and month end
- Check new supplier due diligence
- Identifying and resolving queries so invoices are ready for payment
- Processing payments to suppliers as instructed
Additional responsibilities include:
- Responsible for maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Work closely with the Global Delivery Service teams to ensure smooth and timely processes

- Well-developed listening skills combined with the capability to apply judgment and seek guidance when escalation to a functional expert is appropriate
To qualify for the role you must have:
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant area of study (finance, accounting) or alternatively, equivalent years of experience in finance or accounting as required to perform this position
- 3+ years of experience in a client driven professional environment in a financial capacity conducting analysis and providing recommendations around analysis
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic
- Able to interact well with people at all levels within the firm and build strong relationships
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Packages. Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word in particular.
- Excellent communications and organizational skills.
- Proactive with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Be innovative, confident and creative thinker with ability to make quick decisions.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- People management and development experience.
- Great knowledge of market activities.
- Good business-related experience background.
