The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Consultant, MDM Developer within EY’s Data & Analytics consulting team. We’re looking for Seniors with expertise in MDM development, testing, analysis and implementation skills with specific experience in Informatica MDM. As part of our EY-DnA team, you will help clients in developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. Your key responsibilities
- Need to work as a Senior team member to contribute in various technical streams of implementation and support projects
- Provide product and design level technical best practices
- Understand current MDM architectures and master data integration in scope using Informatica MDM tools -Informatica MDM Hub Console, Prov UI, E360, S360, MDM ingestion /publish mechanism (real time, batch) and Hierarchy Manager (HM)
- Perform requirement analysis and provide solution architecture for MDM integration projects.
- Provide guidance to MDM operational requests and suggest operational efficiencies in MDM operations.
- Research and recommend new and emerging MDM / DQ technologies, methodologies, and standards.
- Create master data and process flows to graphically depict the master data domain’s architecture components.
- Provide technical inputs and support in developing MDM / DQ leading practices, governance, standards, and conventions.
- Communicate MDM architecture and design details to team members, including delivery, architecture, integration governance, operations, support and services, and other partners.
- Collaborate with various business and technical teams to capture requirements and design, configure, document, and develop objects, rules, and reference data tables.
- Resolve complex technical issues as they relate to master data architecture, performance, and various tools, working closely with technical team members.
- Review MDM environment for efficacy, performance improvement (including APIs), and support overall MDM data governance model.
- Data Review on Master data post software upgrades and patching partnering with the necessary Infrastructure teams.
- customizing APIs/building wrapper services or composite services for data ingestion into MDM.
- Configuration and Management of Users/Groups/Roles/enable single sign on/ securities etc.
- Completion of assigned tasks on time and regular status reporting to the lead
- Support business development activities through both leading pursuits and developing strong relationships with existing clients
- Interface and communicate with the onsite coordinators

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Should be at least around 3-4 years of experience in MDM development and implementation
- Should have completed at least 2 full life cycle experience in MDM/DG project using any tools like Informatica
- Strong on SQL and experience in Informatica MDM/DG
- Must have hands-on experience across the various phases of a typical DQM solution - data profiling, data integration, validation, cleansing, standardization, matching, consolidation etc.
- Should have understanding and experience of software development best practices
- Excellent business communication, Consulting, Quality process skills
- Understand and assess the Source to target map documents and provide the recommendations if any
- Manage Enhancement on Informatica MDM/Oracle/SQL server coding skills
- Experience of working with Energy sector clients will be an added advantage
- Experience working independently, efficiently, and effectively under tight timelines and delivering results by critical deadlines
- Experience with client-facing activities such as requirements gathering, facilitating meetings, presentation creation, and ability to prepare client ready deliverables
- Experience of Agile and traditional SDLC delivery methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
