The Opportunity
EY-Parthenon is looking for a Turnaround & Restructuring Strategy Executive to join our MENA team. In this role, you will be an integral
part of our diversely talented and highly experienced team, working at the forefront of high-profile transactions. Our strategic advisors
deliver high-quality advice to clients, helping them navigate complex financial and operational challenges.
Key Responsibilities
You will be involved in assisting clients in evaluating capital options, maximizing transaction value, and achieving strategic objectives—
whether through the acquisition or sale of distressed assets, business restructuring, or enhanced cash management. You will support
the preparation of comprehensive financial reviews of client operations, and provide advisory services on corporate risk management.
Collaboration with cross-functional project teams from various strategy and transactions sub-service lines is essential.
You will also be contributing to practice development initiatives that promote a positive and high-performing work environment. You
will be building and maintaining strong client relationships, while influencing and advising key decision-makers.

The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong business and commercial acumen, thriving in fast-paced environments while consistently
driving value for clients. They possess excellent quantitative and qualitative analysis capabilities, with the ability to synthesize complex
findings and connect them to client-specific challenges. Advanced numerical skills are essential, including proficiency in financial
modeling and detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Qualification & Experience
• Have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 3+ years of relevant work experience in corporate restructuring.
• Have strong finance and accounting capabilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Have excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Flexibility to travel in the region (approximately 25 to 50% of the time).
Ideally, you’ll also:
• Have knowledge of Islamic finance.
• Have excellent problem-solving, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Have auditing experience and client-facing experience from a professional services or consulting background.
• Have full fluency in Arabic, both written and spoken.
