The opportunity

EY’s Centre of Excellence practice in Cairo is recruiting Seniors, to start from September 2023. This practice supports audit engagements across the MENA region both remotely and through travel to MENA offices.

Your key responsibilities

As a member of the Audit team, you'll make a technical contribution to audit engagements and internal projects. You'll actively establish internal and external relationships, and identify and escalate potential business opportunities for EY on existing engagements. With a clear focus on anticipating and identifying risks, you'll escalate issues as appropriate. You'll confirm that the work delivered to clients is of high quality and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer.

To qualify for the role you must have

• Strong academic record, including a degree and accounting qualification, such as ACCA, CPA, CA
• At least 4 years of professional experience in external audit
• Thorough knowledge of current auditing techniques and experience managing teams
• Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm
• Fluent English communication skills
