Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager / Manager - Cyber Security - Identity and Access Management (Microsoft Entra ID) Specialist

Location: Egypt

As part of our Cyber Technology Consulting team, you will lead and deliver Microsoft Entra ID and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) engagements for clients across the MENA region. You will work closely with clients to design, configure, and mature identity lifecycle, access governance, and automation capabilities aligned with their business and compliance needs. The client base spans various sectors and includes collaboration with other teams across Advisory services.

The opportunity

We’re looking for senior consultant / assistant manager / manager with deep, hands-on expertise in Microsoft Entra ID. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading firm and shape the identity security posture of regional and global organizations delivering enterprise-scale IAM implementations.

Your key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement Microsoft Entra Id capabilities including Entitlement Management, Access Packages, Access Reviews, Lifecycle Workflows, and PIM.
• Configure life cycle events access using custom workflows, extensions, auto-assignment, and access packages.
• Develop identity automation using Azure Logic Apps, custom extensions, Azure Storage, and Graph API to invoke application endpoints and orchestrate provisioning/de-provisioning.
• Design and implement service account governance – account lifecycle management, approval workflows, ownership discovery.
• Design, configure, and schedule event-based certification campaigns like application access, dormant accounts, password policy exceptions etc.
• Design and integrate enterprise and business applications using OOB or custom connectors for account aggregation, group aggregation, access management, approvals, mailbox management etc.
• Design and integrate applications for Single-Sign-On and Multi-Factor Authentication.
• Define and deliver audit log integration between Entra IGA and SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk) – event mapping, connectors, Event Hub, and reconciliation.
• Build access request fulfilment solutions using Power Automate and Power BI, integrating with Entra APIs and ITSM for automated provisioning and traceability.
• Prepare and update High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and deliver comprehensive handover to IAM operations.
• Manage engagement delivery, quality assurance, and client satisfaction, and mentor and coach junior team members to foster their technical and professional development.

Skills and attributes for success

• Strong understanding of IAM principles including identity lifecycle, authentication, authorization, access certification, and role-based access controls (RBAC).
• Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Entra ID– Entitlement Management, Access Reviews, Lifecycle Workflows, PIM, and SSO.
• Practical experience with Azure Logic Apps, Graph API, Azure Storage, and custom extensions for identity automation.
• Experience with Active Directory administration, hybrid identity, and mailbox management.
• Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI) and ITSM integration for access request fulfilment.
• Experience integrating identity and audit logs with SIEM platforms such as Splunk.
• Ability to articulate technical IAM solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with a consulting mindset.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to plan engagements and develop work programs, timelines, and risk assessments.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, cyber security, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in the IAM domain, with demonstrable hands-on Microsoft Entra ID / Entra IGA delivery.
• Excellent communication skills with a consulting mindset.
• A valid passport for travel.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Industry-recognized certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300), Azure Solutions Architect, CISSP, or CISM.
• Experience with Zero Trust architecture and cloud-native IAM solutions.
• Familiarity with automation, DevSecOps, and identity governance integration in CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to service account governance, SIEM integration, and identity threat detection.
