Role Purpose

 

The Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager – Insights & Thought Leadership plays a critical role in shaping and amplifying MENA Consulting’s voice in the market. The role is focused on developing high‑quality insights, thought leadership, and compelling narratives that translate sector and competency priorities, strategic themes, and solutions into clear, differentiated stories for clients and external audiences.

 

Sitting at the intersection of strategy, research, and storytelling, this role works closely with senior stakeholders to elevate ideas, position capabilities, and support go‑to‑market efforts through insight‑led content.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

1. Thought Leadership & Insight Development

 

  • Lead the development of distinctive thought leadership and Point Of Views aligned to priority sectors, competencies, and regional strategic themes
  • Translate complex strategies, market trends, and client challenges into clear, compelling, and differentiated thought provoking narratives
  • Shape points of view (POVs), reports, publications, presentations, podcasts, panel presentations, interviews and insight pieces that strengthen market positioning
  • Ensure rigor, clarity, and consistency across all thought leadership outputs

 

2. Storytelling & Narrative Shaping

 

  • Craft strong storylines and messaging that connect business challenges, sector dynamics, and consulting capabilities
  • Partner with subject matter experts to synthesize ideas into structured, executive‑ready narratives
  • Act as a thought partner to leaders on how ideas are positioned and communicated, internally and externally
  • Maintain a consistent tone, voice, and differentiation across insight materials

 

3. Go‑to‑Market Support (Insight‑Led)

 

  • Support go‑to‑market efforts by providing insight‑driven content and narratives that enable sector and account teams
  • Lead the development of external material, thought leadership, point of views to support thought leadership
  • Collaborate with Brand, Market and Communications teams where needed to extend reach

 

4. Cross‑Functional & Stakeholder Collaboration

 

  • Work closely with Sector Leaders, Competency Leaders, and Solutions teams to align thought leadership priorities
  • Act as a connector across teams to bring together ideas, insights, and capabilities into integrated narratives
  • Influence and challenge thinking to improve clarity, relevance, and impact of messaging

 

5. Quality, Impact & Continuous Improvement

 

  • Set a high-quality bar for insight and thought leadership outputs
  • Incorporate feedback and data to continuously refine narratives and positioning
  • Support tracking of engagement and impact of key thought leadership themes (where applicable)

 

Role Requirements

 

  • 3–5 years’ experience in insights, thought leadership, strategy, research, roles in management consulting or professional services
  • Strong track record in developing high‑quality thought leadership, POVs, and strategic content
  • Exceptional storytelling, structuring, and writing skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas and communicate to C-level executives
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and partners in a matrixed environment
  • Ability to connect market trends, client issues, and consulting capabilities into clear narratives
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to rigor, relevance, and impact
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and shaping content from early‑stage ideas
  • Fluent English and Arabic
