Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance Architect & Team Lead to drive the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP financial solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation initiatives for our Cairo office. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO), Treasury, FICA, Central Finance, and Group Reporting and will play a key role in leading a team of SAP finance consultants to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP Finance Architecture & Design:
- Design and implement SAP Finance (FI/CO) architecture for SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and Cloud deployments.
- Ensure SAP solutions align with business processes, regulatory frameworks, and industry best practices.
- Define strategies for SAP Central Finance, Group Reporting, and Treasury Management.
- Oversee financial data models, chart of accounts design, and integration with non-SAP systems.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and tax regulations across multiple geographies.
Finance Process Optimization & Digital Transformation:
- Lead process improvements in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Asset Accounting (AA), Controlling (CO), Fund Management, FICA and Profitability Analysis (COPA).
- Guide Finance Shared Services and automation initiatives.
- Leverage SAP BTP, RPA, AI, and analytics tools to enhance finance processes.
- Drive the adoption of SAP Fiori applications and modern UX/UI for finance teams.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead a team of SAP Finance consultants, business analysts, and technical teams.
- Provide mentorship, training, and career development for the SAP Finance team.
- Act as a key liaison between finance leadership, IT, and SAP project teams.
- Ensure smooth collaboration across business, IT, and external vendors.
SAP Implementation & Rollout Strategy:
- Develop and execute SAP Finance roadmaps, implementation plans, and cutover strategies.
- Lead SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation projects, including greenfield, brownfield, and hybrid approaches.
- Oversee SAP financial consolidations, intercompany reconciliations, and reporting solutions.
- Manage finance-related data migration, master data governance (MDG), and data harmonization.
Integration & Compliance:
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP Finance with MM, HR, and external banking/payment platforms.
- Define SAP GRC, access controls, and audit requirements for finance operations.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, GDPR, and local financial regulations.
Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO), Treasury (TRM), Central Finance (CFin), and Group Reporting expertise.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Controlling (CO), Profitability Analysis (COPA), and Financial Consolidation.
- Experience in Banking Integration, Payments (SWIFT, SEPA), and Treasury Management.
- Proficiency in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Fiori, and embedded analytics.
- Knowledge of SAP GRC, Access Control, and financial security standards.
- Experience in SAP integration (PI/PO, APIs, BTP, third-party financial systems).
- Strong expertise in SAP financial data modeling, chart of accounts design, and tax reporting.
Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate business finance requirements into technical SAP solutions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and global environments.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or a related field.
- SAP Finance certifications (SAP S/4HANA Finance, Central Finance, or equivalent) preferred.
- 10+ years of SAP Finance experience, with 3+ years in an architect or leadership role.
- Experience in large-scale SAP implementations, finance transformations, and cloud finance solutions.
