The opportunity

As a DevOps Engineer in our Digital Engineering practice, you will be at the heart of how we build, test, and deploy modern software solutions. You will design and implement scalable, secure, and automated delivery pipelines, enabling high-performing engineering teams to move faster and with confidence. This is a hands-on, client-facing role that requires strong technical foundations, a passion for automation, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Your key responsibilities

• CI/CD Implementation: Design and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to streamline development processes.
• Infrastructure as Code: Develop and manage infrastructure using code to enable scalable and repeatable deployments.
• Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring solutions to ensure system health and performance, and set up logging to facilitate issue diagnosis.
• Security: Integrate security practices into the DevOps pipeline to ensure compliance and protect against threats.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to understand their needs and provide support for deployment and troubleshooting.
• Automation: Identify opportunities for automation within the development and deployment processes to increase efficiency.

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
• Ability to travel in accordance with client and other job requirements
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; writing, publishing and conference-level presentation skills a plus

To qualify for the role you must have

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 5–8 years in DevOps or platform engineering roles
• Certifications such as AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Expert, or Kubernetes Administrator are preferred
• Experience working in agile and CI/CD environments

Key Skills:

• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
• Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
• Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Logging, monitoring, and alerting tools (Prometheus, ELK, CloudWatch)
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and security tools

Domain/Industry Advantage:

• Experience deploying and managing infrastructure for regulated industries (e.g., government, finance)
• Familiarity with hybrid and multi-cloud environments

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset
• Effective communicator with developers, testers, and business teams
• Attention to detail and focus on automation and quality
• Comfortable with fast-changing priorities and agile delivery pace

What we look for

We seek a detail-oriented and proactive engineer with a strong background in system administration, networking, and cloud services. The ideal candidate will have experience with CI/CD tools, scripting languages, and infrastructure as code frameworks. A solid understanding of security best practices and the ability to work collaboratively across teams are essential. The candidate should be passionate about automation and continuous improvement, with a focus on delivering high-quality, reliable systems.
