As a part of our talent team, you will spend most of your time leading the Talent Delivery team in your respective cluster to deliver exceptional client services. Your role will be key to enable internal change management programs and to support the EY vision.

 

Your key responsibilities

As a cluster lead, you will be leading and overseeing multiple offices, ensuring that service delivery and quality standards are consistently met. Working closely with Talent Delivery Services Teams and local HR Operations Teams, your focus will be on maintaining an exceptional experience, achieving high client satisfaction, and ensuring that all services are delivered to a high quality in a timely manner across the cluster.

It will be your responsibility to identify potential areas for improvement within the operating model, contributing to the optimisation of processes and practices. In addition, you will:

  • Be a visible leader to your cluster providing support and guidance to your team members where required as well as key stakeholders within the business.
  • Drive service delivery and quality within the team in alignment to set KPIs.
  • Promote a solution-oriented team by demonstrating agility and transformative thinking.
  • Actively support technology development and the use of AI to improve processes and experience.
  • Collaborate with Talent Delivery Teams and local HR Operations Cluster Teams to ensure alignment and consistency across all offices within your cluster.
  • Monitor the quality and effectiveness of service delivery to ensure implementation of business requirements.
  • Ensure responsiveness of all HR operations services provided to end users.
  • Support the execution of the on-boarding strategy through the involvement in the induction process and ongoing on-boarding for new joiners. Assist new employees in settling into EY and helping them navigate local customs, administrative requirements, and providing pastoral care as needed.
  • In conjunction with the immigration team, support the onboarding and induction of new partners.
  • Ensure the accuracy of personnel files and that all legally required documents are stored in both hard copy and electronic file formats.
  • Support operational activities that need to be executed face-to-face and locally, as appropriate.
  • Monitor operational services and provide feedback to HR Operations and shared services as required, to continuously improve service delivery.
  • Provide support in the implementation of any reward initiatives or programmes related to flexible working, health, well-being, and similar areas.
  • Offer advice to employees and counsellors as appropriate, when this service is not delivered by shared services or Talent Consultants.
  • Take ownership of certain talent initiatives, which may be cross-functional, and execute them locally for the business in coordination with other talent functions and shared services as necessary.
  • Manage any employee grievances, claims, disciplinary issues, union negotiation and consultation, and provide support where necessary in coordination with respective functions.
  • Coordinate regularly with other Talent Delivery Functions such as Immigration, Employee relations and Talent services.

 

Skills and attributes for success

  • Building strong and valuable relationships with Managers, Stakeholders, Core People Team, Function Leads and local HR.
  • Managing the relationship with HR operations teams – share knowledge and enable business focus.
  • Understanding process requirements, consequences, and operational effectiveness through each process, providing when required improvements and resolutions to better enable the business.
  • Commercial and pragmatic approach balanced with a high degree of sensitivity and discretion.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • 10-12 years’ experience working in a talent leadership role for either a consulting firm or a complex business.  
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related discipline
  • Knowledge of HR policies, processes and talent management practices within professional services or other industries
  • Confidence in interacting with and influencing individuals at all levels within the organizations.

 

Ideally, you will also have

  • Master’s degree in human resources or a CIPD qualification
  • The ability to manage a diverse workload and deliver successful outcomes.
