Job Summary:

 

Talent Services (TS) is a core service function within Global Delivery Services (GDS) – Enablement Services, providing High quality skills and competencies supporting operational and consultative Talent activities to EY member firms.  TS personnel are employed by Global Delivery Services (GDS) and are based in our centers in:

Poland: Wroclaw, Warsaw, Katowice

Philippines: Manila, Cebu

India: Bangalore, Trivandrum, Cochin, Gurgaon, Noida

Argentina: Buenos Aires

 

TS supports the Super Regions of EY and are funded by the regions based on usage. Learning TS supports a specific Super Region and acts as part of the extended Super Region Learning team. TS works in a fully integrated way with onshore colleagues, participating in meetings, projects and planning activities as part of one team.

 

The English Proficiency Coach will play a critical role in strengthening communication capabilities across the Talent Services population in Buenos Aires. This role will be dedicated to supporting TS professionals by improving English fluency, comprehension, and confidence in a professional environment, enabling more effective collaboration with US and global stakeholders.

The role will design, implement, and manage a structured English Proficiency Program tailored to the needs of Talent Services, ensuring measurable improvement aligned with business priorities and client expectations.

Your key responsibilities

 

Program Design & Delivery

  • Design and implement a structured English Proficiency Program for Talent Services
  • Develop curriculum, learning paths, and training materials aligned with business scenarios
  • Establish different proficiency levels (e.g., intermediate to advanced business English)
  • Incorporate practical application through simulations (calls, emails, stakeholder discussions)

English Coaching & Development

  • Deliver one-on-one and group coaching sessions focused on:
    • Spoken fluency and pronunciation
    • Listening comprehension
    • Business communication (meetings, presentations, stakeholder interactions)
  • Tailor coaching approaches based on individual proficiency levels and role requirements
  • Provide real-time feedback and actionable development plans for participants

Assessment & Progress Tracking

  • Conduct baseline and ongoing proficiency assessments
  • Track participant progress and measure program effectiveness
  • Provide periodic reporting to Talent Services leadership on improvement trends and outcomes

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with Talent Services leaders, US Function Leaders and teams to identify skill gaps and priority populations
  • Align coaching objectives with business needs (e.g., stakeholder-facing roles, leadership readiness)

Collaborate with Learning & Development teams where applicable

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Continuously refine program content based on feedback and evolving business requirements
  • Introduce innovative learning methods (digital tools, AI-supported learning, peer practice models)
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and confidence in English communication

Role Requirements:

Education & Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Education, Linguistics, English, or related preferred)
  • Certification in Teaching English (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA or equivalent) – required

Experience

  • Relevant experience teaching or coaching English for professional/business environments
  • Experience designing or delivering structured language programs
  • Experience working with corporate or multinational organizations preferred
  • Experience in teaching or training business English preferred
  • Familiar with CEFR and can assess using CEFR standards
  • Project management skills

Language Skills

  • English: Native or Fluent proficiency (required)
  • Spanish proficiency preferred for effective local engagement
