Job description
Senior UX/UI Designer
You will support our Tax Technology and Transformation team at GDS Argentina and take the responsibility to create innovative designs both for internal uses and for EY’s clients, applying the company’s design system and ensuring alignment with EY’s branding guidelines. You will also incorporate AI-driven design approaches and leverage emerging technologies to enhance user experiences and optimize design processes.

Your key responsibilities
As part of our team, you will:
- Collaborate closely with the Tax Technology & Transformation team to understand the core objectives, translating them into intuitive and innovative user experiences for internal platform builds.
- Design a wide range of digital assets including user interfaces, dashboards, web and mobile responsive applications, and interactive prototypes, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience across platforms.
- Create advanced interactive prototypes, including high-fidelity mockups and AI-assisted prototypes, to validate concepts, simulate user flows, and communicate design solutions effectively to stakeholders and development teams.
- Leverage AI-powered design tools to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and delivery.
- Provide quality assurance of all deliverables and manage creative responsibilities of assigned projects.
- Be up to date with EY global branding guidelines to deliver brand-compliant designs.
- Lead projects, applying design thinking methodologies, conducting benchmarks and heuristic reviews, and performing quality assessments aligned with EY brand compliance.
- Participate in clients’ and team’s calls as necessary gathering feedback and adjusting design accordingly.
- Comply with all learning requirements and CE credits as well as Risk Management and general policies.
Skills and attributes for success
- You should be fluent in English.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, industrial design, multimedia design or related discipline.
- A strong design portfolio of current, UX/UI design work including interaction design, user flows, process mapping, heuristics evaluation wireframes, accessibility best practices, advanced prototyping (low, mid, and high-fidelity), and end-to-end product thinking.
- Proficiency in Figma – High skills in Figma for creating components, variables, wireframes, prototypes, and design systems.
- Experience in process mapping and service design, with the ability to define end-to-end user flows and improve overall user journeys.
- Experience with AI-assisted design tools (e.g., Figma AI, Firefly, Copilot, Midjourney, DALL·E or similar).
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite – Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design tools for creating detailed graphics and assets.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends in AI, automation, and personalization, and proactively suggest improvements.
- Basic knowledge of prompt design to generate UI, content, and ideas using AI tools.
- Microsoft Office expertise – Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook for communication, documentation, and project management.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles – User-centred design principles, usability testing, and design thinking methodologies.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively – Efficient time management and the ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
