Job description
An exciting opportunity to work as part of the Business Tax Advisory group of EY in a diverse team of highly successful tax and industry specialists in Buenos Aires. You will support companies in claiming the research & development (R&D) business tax incentives provided globally that were introduced to encourage companies to invest in innovation.
Position description:
You will be working with a variety of clients at the forefront of Chemical industry, including some of the largest global corporations, to evaluate and prepare their R&D business tax incentive claims. You will have the opportunity to learn about the latest developments. This role will require you to work in close collaboration within a team-based and consultancy environment. It will also require you to have strong technical knowledge, technical report writing skills, interpersonal and communication skills, and project management skills.

We are looking for a candidate with outstanding verbal and written communication skills to join our team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has completed or is currently pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering and has between 0 and 2 years of work experience, but is interested in gaining exposure to the business and financial side of organizations while applying their knowledge in a creative and analytical manner. Key responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand complex technical documentation associated with highly innovative R&D projects from diverse industries, transforming that information into clear, structured, and traceable technical reports.
- Prepare technical project descriptions detailing clients’ R&D activities and demonstrating how those activities meet the eligibility requirements of the applicable tax incentive programs.
- Gain the opportunity to progress into roles with greater exposure within the practice, working on more complex projects and supporting engagements involving different types of business tax incentives.
Qualifications:
- Though not required, 1-2 years of relevant work experience would be considered a strong asset
- Strong understanding of the latest developments in your field
- Excellent English communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
