EY Enterprise Technology group specific in the Digital Experience area is working on implementing EY Specific products on the EYDxP powered by Adobe platform that consists of the Adobe CX Stack including but not limited to Adobe Workfront; AEM; AEP; Target; Analytics; AJO.
The opportunity
The Adobe Platform team is looking for an Architect that is able to assist the Agile Workstream in developing a solution and road maps that meets the business needs. The role will be involved in planning, designing and overseeing the construction of projects and systems. You will be involved in new designs, extensions, and enhancements of feature pertaining to the Adobe platform. The goal of this role is to design a solution that both is functionally and architecturally in the right direction to support the business need but aligns as close as possible to the out of box functionality.
The Solution Architect is responsible for the architectural leadership and delivery of architecture for projects working under the direction of the Lead Architect. Makes certain the alignment of the IT Strategy to the broader organization's mission, strategy / objectives, capabilities, and processes using industry recognized architectural models. Expands the company's use of technology as a strategic enabler of goals and objectives, realizing global business benefits whilst empowering local service innovation. Responsible for coordination and delivery of important and complex future planning activities to enable key business service, process, organizational and technology initiatives. They engage directly with business sponsors to conceptualize architectural approaches, develop solution architectures to confirm that the proposed architecture will meet the defined business needs. They validate that the engineering design will satisfy the architectural solution. Guides and mentors’ teams on methodologies, processes and best practices according to EY’s Architecture Frameworks and supports the development and maintenance of these frameworks and approaches, including technical / functional logical modelling, architecture governance, and tooling. Associate directors execute on the maturity plan developed by EA leadership intended to enable delivery of seamless, end-to-end Enterprise Architecture Services.
Your key responsibilities
Day-to-day, this role will:
• Aligns and communicates clear architecture plans, driving towards the appropriate balance of cost, risk and quality, and effectively and consistently communicates this to stakeholders
• Works with Architecture team to set architectural direction, builds consensus, mediates conflicts, and helps to create an environment which solicits positive contributions from all participants, including Enterprise Architects, engineering teams, project managers, business analysts, test teams, Information Security and Operations
• Architect solutions that leverage data, analytics, and AI-driven capabilities (e.g., customer profiles, personalization, and orchestration) while ensuring responsible use, governance, and scalability.
• Enforces architecture governance structures, methodologies (architecture and engineering) and compliance activities to maintain regulatory compliance and enterprise standards
• Communicate feedback to the EA leadership team that helps improve and evolve the quality and type of EA services provided
• Overseas communication of the value and promoting usage and harvesting of EA asset content, it is leveraging via logical frameworks and use in enterprise-wide road-mapping
• Develops recommendations regarding enterprise architecture tools and strategies to support the continuing improvement of EA, defining their potential impacts or benefits
• Cultivate and build relationships across business, IT and vendors / analysts to gather intelligence and bring insight into the wider enterprise picture and enable the leveraging of emerging industry standards and approaches within EA
• Develops and implements an ongoing communication plan to educate stakeholders on the purpose and benefits of Solution Architecture
• Strong analytical skills capable of assessing complex business requirements from real world scenarios and the ability to translate them into actionable target architectures, readily understood models and architectural plans
• Deep technical proficiency while the ability to keeping an eye on the bigger picture
• Ability to identify, prioritize and weigh different options, balancing business, cost and technology priorities to determine a best solution
• Strong client-facing facilitation skills and business acumen needed to help business leaders and program managers understand how to apply complex IT / Architecture concepts to solve business problems
• Contributing to and driving global technology standards proposals and filing exceptions as required
• Provides thought leadership into the evolution of the Solution Architecture function, working collaboratively with managers, peers and analysts
• Directs and provides guidance and thought leadership to an Architecture team so that architectural assets, concepts and solutions are built in line with Enterprise Architecture principles
• Drives the creation of relevant and meaningful solution architectures, re-usable assets and other deliverables that enables the overall business thus driving better performance
• Manages the solution architecture for their program and is accountable for maturing its architectural linkages across the other Enterprise Architecture frameworks

To qualify for the role, you must have
• Bachelor’s Degree (required) or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Adobe Product family as a Solution Architect
• Enterprise scale Adobe Implementation experience
• Strong understanding of digital experience platforms
• Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
• Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills
• Knowledge of current digital marketing trends and best practices on topics such as personalization, cross channel marketing, mobile, data driven optimization of experiences
• Innovative thinker and desire to help us build out a new Consulting practice and be a pioneer within the industry.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction.
• Other relevant experience in a related technical field (application development, deployment/implementation and infrastructure)
• Work experience in a professional services industry, or global teams preferred
• Significant work experience IT infrastructure and security projects
• Flexibility to work outside typical hours, as required of a global team
• Flexibility to travel on a very limited basis
Ideally, you’ll also have
• Adobe certifications - Desired
• Familiarity with ITIL
• Experience in supporting a professional service and/or global IT organization
• An understanding of Information Security tenets and priorities
• Familiarity with the IIBA (BABOK) Practice Standards
• Enterprise Search Implementation Experience – Desired
