We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Project Support Specialist to join our team, playing a pivotal role in the implementation and upgrade of finance software solutions for our clients. This position demands a unique blend of project management expertise, business analysis acumen, and extensive experience with internal finance systems and applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and enhance client satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of finance projects, ensuring timely delivery and strict adherence to budget constraints.
  • Requirements Gathering: Engage with stakeholders to gather, document, and clarify project requirements, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives.
  • Testing and Validation: Conduct comprehensive testing to validate functionality and performance against established requirements, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Issue Resolution: Collaborate with internal teams and clients to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues effectively, implementing sustainable solutions.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain thorough project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting notes, to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Change Management Support: Assist in managing change initiatives related to finance projects, facilitating smooth transitions and stakeholder buy-in.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in project management, specifically in finance system implementations and upgrades.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Testing Methodologies: Demonstrated experience with various testing methodologies and tools, ensuring robust validation processes.
  • Finance Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with a range of internal finance systems, including ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile project management methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA) is a plus.
