Senior Associate- Cyber Compliance Monitoring - EY GDS

The opportunity 

This role supports the Americas Data Protection Office and Cyber Compliance Enablement function in executing application monitoring and compliance activities across U.S./Americas applications. The Senior Associate will support data review, reporting, monitoring operations, stakeholder engagement and audit-ready compliance oversight, helping enable effective visibility of cybersecurity risk, control adherence and remediation progress.

Your key responsibilities 

• Support the execution of application monitoring activities across the Americas portfolio, including review of questionnaires provided by system owners with control indicators, compliance evidence and monitoring outputs.
• Analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify completeness gaps, exceptions, trends and potential compliance or cybersecurity risk indicators.
• Prepare accurate reporting, dashboards and periodic updates to support leadership visibility into monitoring status, key issues, remediation progress and audit readiness.
• Review monitoring results for completeness, accuracy and alignment with applicable cybersecurity, compliance and governance requirements.
• Coordinate with application owners, technology teams, risk stakeholders and compliance contacts to gather missing information, resolve data queries and follow up on open actions.
• Support process improvements, automation opportunities and standardization of monitoring routines to improve efficiency, consistency and quality of compliance operations.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills to support stakeholder engagement, query resolution and clear status reporting.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity, risk management, compliance monitoring, IT governance or related control environments.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and reporting tools; experience with dashboards or data visualization tools is an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Collaborative mindset, curiosity and flexibility to adapt to evolving processes, tools and compliance expectations.
• Practical problem-solving approach and ability to support stakeholders through clear, timely and accurate follow-up.

To qualify for the role, you must have 

• Fluent English (C1 or above).
• 3–5 years of experience in risk management, compliance monitoring, IT governance, technology risk, data risk or related areas.
• String familiarity with cybersecurity related risk landscape and emerging threats.
• Experience supporting monitoring, reporting, compliance review, control validation or risk oversight activities.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills, including experience working with Excel and large datasets across multiple sources.
• Experience working with stakeholders across business, technology, cybersecurity, risk or compliance functions.
• Ability to coordinate activities, manage deliverables and drive assigned responsibilities with limited supervision.

Ideally, you’ll also have 

• Experience working in a global or matrix organization.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, IT controls, compliance monitoring, application risk management or regulatory compliance environments.
• Experience preparing dashboards, visual reports, leadership updates or management information packs.
• Experience supporting process improvement, automation, change management or transformation initiatives.
• Relevant certification or training in cybersecurity, risk, compliance, data protection, IT governance or audit is an advantage.
