Job description
Summary: Reporting to the GDS Americas Sales activation Leader, you'll be expected to lead a team of Account Managers and enable the team across sectors towards achieving targets related to client relationships, pipeline activity, Client experience strategies. Along with leading a team, the individual is expected to manage an account portfolio and drive growth leveraging account management framework, global and sector/FOP solutions, pursuits & sector insights that contribute to account sales strategies.

Select Responsibilities
- Accountable for growth, development and performance management of Account Managers; owns stakeholder management related to Account Managers across sector(s).
- Engage with internal business groups in planning, designing and deployment of delivery models
- Drive effective relationships with senior regional stakeholders and embedding market’s priorities into the processes/practices of their organization
- Actively promote growth and demand generation through solutions, alliances, and managed services
- Lead account management excellence execution.
- Counsel and act as a mentor to guide the team towards achieving the key performance indicators (KPIs) assigned to measure their role’s effectiveness and socialize the impact of key initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives.
- Utilize a consultative approach to understand the unique challenges and needs of different sectors and regions, translating these insights into tailored recommendations and process solutions.
- Help drive the learning & development agenda and provide strategic guidance and technical leadership to Account Managers
- Analyze stakeholder feedback and identify opportunities for enhancement and implement corrective action plans to steer continuous improvement efforts
- Influencing account growth by fostering sales initiatives, influencing client relationships, pipeline development/advancement
- Develop and drive client-centered account sales strategy
- Drive sales rigor and pipeline across book of business
Professional Experience:
- 12+ years in a professional services firm with sales enablement and team management experience preferred.
- Internal or external Consulting experience is preferred, particularly within a global matrixed organization.
- Proven success in leading complex projects with minimal supervision
- Experience in leading teams across locations
