Senior Risk Associate
We are looking for Senior Risk Analyst with strong command of English to join our global Risk Management Services Team. If you enjoy business research and analysis but also like communicating with clients in the global environment, this job is just perfect for you.
The opportunity
Risk Management Services (RMS) has been operating in EY GDS Poland for almost 10 years as part of a global function and continues to grow rapidly. Within RMS, Independence is the largest sub-function, responsible for delivering key internal processes that help ensure EY and its professionals comply with auditor independence rules and regulations. This work supports EY Member Practices by helping them remain free from interests or relationships that could compromise, or appear to compromise, the objectivity, integrity, and impartiality required in audit engagements.
The role offers opportunities to work in a dynamic, growth-focused environment, with an objective of protecting EY’s reputation as an independent auditor, by providing support to EY member firm practices. It also involves close collaboration with global teams and stakeholders to strengthen the compliance framework and foster a mindset of continuous improvement and client enablement.
Your key responsibilities
As a Senior Risk associate, you will need to:
- Utilize working knowledge of personal independence regulations and other supporting Independence tools and systems.
- Develop technical expertise of Independence processes and EY policies with regard to personal financial independence to assume subject matter expert responsibilities.
- Conduct initial reviews of the audits of US professional’s personal financial interests/relationships to ensure proper reporting within the firm's independence monitoring system and compliance with the US independence policy.
- Provide Associate analysts within the team with detailed feedback and guidance after each audit/review to enhance audit quality.
- Build strong credibility by sharing insights and technical acumen, while engaging in relevant discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead knowledge calibration sessions addressing process related questions from team members.
- Proactively communicate with senior EY employees to clarify/obtain additional information and address inquiries regarding their personal financial relationships.
- Consistently assess current processes and suggest innovative solutions or ideas to enhance efficiency and drive improvements.
- Understand and work towards meeting and exceeding the defined individual and team KPIs for the role.
- Provide additional support in dedicated projects/task assignments.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Well-developed analytical, interpersonal, and communication (both verbal and written) skills in English
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience working in a corporate organization
- Attention to details and experience in data analysis, research
- Good understanding of financial terminologies and awareness of auditor Independence and basic risk management and compliance concepts.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
- Credible experience working in a fast-moving, client-driven environment
