Americas Data Risk Coordinator- Supervising Associate

Key Responsibilities
1. Regional & Global Coordination
o Act as a liaison between Regional Data Risk teams and Global Data Stewardship Office, ensuring smooth communication and alignment.
o Monitor regional implementation of DSO initiatives within the area and provide feedback on progress and challenges.
2. Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
o Disseminate Global DSO communications to regional teams and Member Firms (MFs).
o Collect feedback from regions and escalate issues or concerns to Global DSO leadership.
o Facilitate connects with regional Data Risk Leaders and Risk Management Leaders to discuss priorities and updates.
o Prepare agendas and ensure follow-up actions are tracked.
o Assist in representing area level insights during Data Risk, Data Protection, DSO and GCO regular calls and in-person meetings if required.
3. DSO Monitoring
o Track and report on data risk practices and DSO initiatives across Regions in Americas
o Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in compliance and risk posture.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Work closely with cross-functional parters function representatives
o Support joint initiatives and ensure consistent application of policies and standards.
5. Operations & Implementation
o Assist regional leaders in managing projects and operational tasks.
o Coordinate regional adoption of global tools, processes, and frameworks.
6. Meeting & Call Management – as required
7. Presentation & Reporting
o Prepare slide decks for meetings with regions, ensuring clarity and alignment with global objectives.
o Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualise compliance and risk metrics.
o Analyse data to provide actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.
To qualify for the role, you must have
o You should be fluent in English (C1)
o 6+ years of related work experience
o Experience in Financial Services, Technology Risk, Data Risk, Data Compliance, Cyber Security and/or Information Security would be preferred
Ideally, you’ll also have
• IAPP certifications (either CIPP/E, CIPP/US and/or CIPM)
