The opportunity

The Information Security Compliance team is looking for someone to work with the analysis of compliance related information drawn from a wide variety of sources in order to derive patterns and trends regarding security control operations and effectiveness. The Compliance team is responsible for supervising and leading information security risk across a highly sophisticated and global network of technologies, platforms, and services. The results of the team’s analysis will not only drive remediation efforts as well as supporting investment decisions to further reduce information risk.

Your key responsibilities

  • Prepares reports based on business and technical requirements
  • Designs and implements automations of business processes
  • Identifies different data sources and migrates data between environments
  • Creates and maintains good relation with different groups of stakeholders
  • Estimates impact of required/proposed changes
  • Works across multiple teams to identify and remove obstacles in processes
  • Proposes solutions in order to improve existing and future processes
  • Communicates well up, down, and across the organization, adapting language and style to connect with all parties and encouraging a lively exchange on ideas, issues and questions being raised
  • Promotes a collaborative approach when influencing or negotiating, by actively soliciting relevant inputs from all the parties and striving to create options that generate mutual gains
  • Expresses thoughts effectively and convincingly using appropriate verbal and non-verbal behaviors to reinforce logical, concise messages
  • Coaches others on the process of conducting quality reviews
  • Coaches others on drafting complex reports
  • Monitors the effectiveness of existing tools and techniques and implements improvements
  • Leads the production and maintenance of documentation
  • Evaluates documentation of delivery mechanisms, tools and techniques
  • Implements technical documentation standards, guidelines and leading practices

 

Skills and attributes for success

  • Advanced knowledge and experience of SQL (preferably T-SQL)
  • Experience with ETL processes
  • MS SQL Server management experience - creating/modifyig tables, views, stored procedures, jobs, etc
  • Experience in Data Visualization and usage of PowerBi/Tableau/Spotfire platforms
  • Knowledge of Power platform components: Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps.
  • Knowledge of Azure/Google Cloud/AWS  cloud environments and its various components.
  • Knowledge of MS Visual Studio - SSIS packages management/creation
  • Statistics
  • Good Technical aptitude, problem solving and ability to quickly learn and master new topics and domains.
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • 6 – 8  years of work experience in Business Intelligence/Data Analytics/Data Engineering
  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics or another related field
  • Expert in PowerBI
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL/SSIS packages
  • Data analysis skills with strengths in drilling into underlying databases for discovery and seeing opportunities and trends, and translating these into understandable and meaningful business outputs
  • Demonstrated ability to translate findings into clear insights and then communicate verbally and through compelling written documents

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Certifications (AZ-900, AZ-400, PL-100, PL-400, PL-200, DA-100)
  • At least one of the following security certifications: CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, CISA
  • Familiarity with Active Directory Security (Specially Azure AD)
  • Familiarity with Azure environment
  • Knowledge of security frameworks especially ISO 27001.  
  • Knowledge in Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) frameworks and tools (preferably Archer GRC)
  • Knowledge of O365 security
  • Knowledge of Project management
