The opportunity
The Americas Data Stewardship Office (DSO) supports US accounts in implementing Client Data Risk frameworks and strengthening data governance and data protection practices.
We are looking for a Senior Associate to support Client Data Risk initiatives across strategic US accounts. Working with account teams and stakeholders across risk, privacy, legal, information security, and business functions, you will contribute to framework implementation, stakeholder coordination, and data risk management activities.
This role offers an opportunity to build expertise in data governance, data protection, and client data risk management while developing skills in stakeholder engagement, executive communications, and delivery of strategic initiatives.
Your key responsibilities
Data Risk & Governance
• Support implementation of data risk, data governance, and data protection frameworks across accounts and business functions.
• Review client data protection requirements and support execution of appropriate risk mitigation activities.
• Contribute to data risk assessments, business data flow mapping, data lifecycle reviews, and remediation planning.
• Identify risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement and recommend practical solutions.
• Support development and enhancement of processes that strengthen data risk management and compliance activities.
Stakeholder Coordination & Delivery
• Act as a key point of contact for assigned accounts, workstreams, or initiatives.
• Coordinate activities across risk, privacy, legal, technology, and business stakeholders.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions, document actions, and support execution of agreed plans.
• Independently manage assigned activities and contribute to the successful delivery of data risk initiatives.
Executive Communication & Reporting
• Prepare presentations, executive summaries, dashboards, leadership updates, and governance materials.
• Translate complex risk and governance topics into clear and concise business messages.
• Support governance forums, leadership meetings, and account reviews through high-quality reporting and analysis.
• Present findings, recommendations, and next steps to stakeholders in a structured and professional manner.
Analysis & Continuous Improvement
• Analyze information from multiple sources to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support development of recommendations and action plans to address identified issues.
• Contribute to ongoing enhancement of processes, templates, reporting approaches,

• Understanding of data governance, data protection, privacy, and risk management principles.
• Experience supporting governance, compliance, risk, or data-related initiatives and frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and recommend practical solutions.
• Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Experience preparing presentations, executive summaries, management updates, or reporting materials.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently on assigned activities, and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement focus.
To qualify for the role, you must have
• Fluent English (C1 or above).
• 3–5 years of experience in Data Risk, Data Governance, Data Protection, Privacy, Compliance, Information Security, Technology Risk, Data Stewardship, or related areas.
• Experience supporting implementation of governance, compliance, risk management, or data protection activities.
• Experience working with stakeholders across different business, risk, and technology functions.
• Ability to coordinate activities, manage deliverables, and drive assigned responsibilities with limited supervision.
• Experience preparing presentations, leadership updates, reports, executive summaries, or governance materials.
Ideally, you’ll also have
• Experience working in a global or matrix organization.
• Familiarity with data governance, privacy, information security, or regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Experience supporting process improvement, change management, or transformation initiatives.
• Exposure to client-facing or stakeholder-facing environments.
• IAPP certification (CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM) or similar qualifications.
