Job Summary:

As a Project Manager, you will implement solutions that enable EY member firms to automate, secure, and standardize their treasury and payment processes. In this role, you will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders as part of a managed service model responsible for time critical financial AR/AP processes, global banking connectivity, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full project lifecycle and align IT resources to project workstreams to ensure that all technical requirements are accurately captured, prioritized, and integrated into delivery.

• Reduce project delays and risks by identifying and mitigating critical‑path dependencies between project teams and IT teams, enabling smoother cross‑functional execution.

• Drive consistent, high‑quality delivery by managing schedules, communicating status updates, and supervising configuration / development to ensure all IT deliverables meet quality standards.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

• Bridge communication between business and development teams to ensure shared understanding of requirements and expectations.

• Oversee on‑time, high‑quality delivery of project technology and development outputs.

• Monitor, track, and drive resolution of bugs throughout the development lifecycle.

• Establish and maintain project processes for planning, status reporting, and structured delivery of development cycles.

• Develop and manage resourcing plans for both development and quality assurance teams.

• Provide clear, consistent status reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

• Review technical documentation to verify completeness and alignment with project requirements.

• Manage project scope and control changes through a structured change‑management process.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively to minimize impact on timelines and deliverables.

• Facilitate cross‑functional alignment through regular meetings with business, development, QA, and leadership teams.

• Contribute insights to long‑term technology roadmaps based on project outcomes.

Exceptional communication skills are required to ensure IT requirements are clearly defined and understood. The role also necessitates strong problem solving and analytical abilities to support accurate and effective resource allocation.

 

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

The role requires a strong working knowledge of EY’s technology, paired with a solid understanding of the business functions and internal stakeholders we support. Success in this role depends on the ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements that guide solution design and delivery. Developing a long‑term vision and roadmap for payment solutions and supporting platforms is essential to ensure effective development, deployment, and scalability of project outcomes.

 

Additional skills and experience:

• Experience working within waterfall and agile methodologies with a demonstrated track record of delivering project successfully.

• Proven ability to drive change and collaborate effectively across business and technical boundaries.

• Build trust‑based relationships with key stakeholders through transparency, consistency, and proactive communication.

• Proficiency with delivery and tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.

 

Candidates must have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or related discipline(s).

• 3+ years managing large scale multi-year software implementations.

• Excellent analytical, problem solving, decision making, interpersonal and communication skills.

• Implementation or migration experience with any technology project

• High motivated, self-directed individual with the ability to work independently.

• Experience with multiple SDLC methodologies (waterfall, unified, Agile).

• Strong project management capabilities with ability to multi-task.

• Strong conflict resolution skills required.

• Microsoft Office products are a must have.

• Experience with any banking or payment technology is preferred.
