EY GDS’s Tax Technology & Transformation (TTT) team’s mission is to develop, implement and integrate technology solutions that better serve our clients and engagement teams. As a member of EY’s core Tax practice, you’ll develop a deep tax technical knowledge and outstanding database, data analytics and programming skills.  

The opportunity

EY's GDS TTT team members work side-by-side with the firm's partners, clients and tax technical subject matter experts to develop and incorporate technology solutions that enhance value-add, improve efficiencies and enable our clients with disruptive and market leading tools supporting Tax.  

GDS TTT team works closely with clients and professionals in the following areas: Federal Business Tax Services, Partnership Compliance, Corporate Compliance, Indirect Tax Services, Human Capital, and Internal Tax Services. GDS Tax Technology provides solution architecture, application development, testing and maintenance support to the global TAX service line both on a pro-active basis and in response to specific requests.  

Role Overview:

• Analyse and understand business needs for AI agent development to improve tax service delivery transformations.
• Assess business requirements and prevent duplication of existing solutions.
• Work with tax service delivery teams to detail and refine requirements.
• Report to the review committee and offer feedback to service delivery teams and vice-versa.
• Act as the intermediary between the tax service delivery team and the technical team to assess whether agent creation can be achieved through no-code features or if custom development is required.
• Stay informed about the product's development roadmap and communicate effectively to all the parties involved.
• Facilitate collaboration among teams for AI agent development. Candidate

Skills and attributes for success
• Proficient in advanced prompt engineering.

• Possesses a mindset for product development.
• Strong in business analysis and process optimization.
• Experienced in using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot etc.
• Familiarity with the application and benefits of AI agents in streamlining business processes.
• Knowledgeable about various large language models (LLMs)
• Data visualization through Power BI is a plus

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelors / Master’s degree in Science/ Engineering / MCA/ MBA
• Advanced English skills
