Responsibilities
- Responsible for partnering with the Global Payroll engagement teams for managing the contracting process (SOW, Change Requests etc), for clients or a portfolio of client’s pre-handover to Transitions & Operations.
- Collaborate with engagement teams, third parties, and client counterparts to own the timely completion of contracting deliverables
- Develop/ co-create standard service agreements defining scope of services, commercials, service level agreements (SLAs) with focus on commercial clauses such as limitation of liability, termination, payment terms, SLA credit etc to in accordance with EY’s standard agreement clauses and covering the Payroll Operate service interests. Act as a gatekeeper for such documents
- Central ownership on Statements of Work, Change Requests, Arrangement Letters, Subcontracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Amendments working with project leadership to provide timely reviews and quality contractual documents
- Liaise with Finance, Legal, Delivery teams to review commercial calculations, compliance and consistency of the contract terms, identify contract and commercial risks and issues
- Follow approvals with client, third parties & internal stakeholders, digital signatures and release of contracts all concerned parties.
Key Competencies and Skills
- Strong commercials and contracting expertise in a client service environment – typically from a BPO/ ITO service industry
- Proven track record of owning at least 2 to 3 end to end large commercial deals in a third-party outsourcing environment, part of the Sales Operations / commercials group
- Should have client relationship skills and account management in a third-party outsourcing environment
- Strong negotiation experience with internal and external stakeholders with ability to drive consensus and resolve conflicts is a key success criteria to the role
- Experience in developing cross functional teams in a multi-disciplinary practice and ability to lead a team of experienced professionals
- Good understanding of the overall outsourcing service industry, preferably exposure to Payroll or HR outsourcing services
- Proven ownership of delivering on strategic projects
Qualification
Graduate / Post-Graduate in Commerce or Law or Master’s in business administration
Work Experience
Manager: Minimum 10 years in contract & commercial management
