Your Role

This is a techno-functional role where no two days are the same - so you'll find yourself taking on plenty of stable as well as dynamic responsibilities on the go. In this role, you will be balancing your time between Finance processes & Finance systems support as a super user enabling support to primary user of these applications to be able to discharge their responsibilities effectively.

Key Responsibilities include but is not limited to:

Perform the finance process and finance systems technical support while adhering to key SLAs
With your techno-functional hands-on experience, you are expected to provide inputs on how to improve underlying processes and manage user support requirements more efficiently and effectively including but not restricted to automation via workflow, RPAs etc
Participate and lead in managing system improvement, enhancement projects in terms of tracking progress of projects, making sure project goals and requirements are clearly captured, user acceptance testing activities, user training etc
Making sure tickets allocated to respective teams are actioned and resolved in a timely manner
Interact with various stakeholder in the Finance function to understand and enable their requirements in terms of systems performance and support; partner with teams to ensure monthly activities are performed per agreed schedule
Participate and support month end close, year close activities and quarterly and annual planning exercises
Support finance stakeholders to pull data and reports for audit queries, FERC reporting, support and process master data change/update requests.  

Experience and skill sets required: 

5+ Years of Techo-Functional experience on Oracle / Peoplesoft, OneStream applications
Experienced in incident management and resolution of L1 and L2 technical issues on these applications.
Knowledge of F&A, including but not limited to General Ledger, Close activities, FP&A Internal controls like SOX compliance, vendor management & T&E
Willingness to work in hybrid model of working with distributed team across multiple locations and time zones
Aptitude spot process and system improvement opportunities
Good English written and verbal communication skills
Experience in Energy & Utilities sector preferred
Powerplan application knowledge and exposure is an added advantage
