Reports to: GDS MSFT Campaign Activation LeadThe OpportunityThe Microsoft Campaign Activation Specialist will manage the structured activation of Microsoft alliance campaigns across priority markets, translating approved alliance, campaign and go-to-market priorities into executable activation plans, coordinated workstreams and measurable outcomes. Operating at EY Specialist level, aligned to Assistant Director / Manager expectations, the role acts as the manager-level execution counterpart to the Campaign Activation Strategist for the Microsoft Functional Alliance Director team, ensuring campaign priorities are operationalized consistently across regions, stakeholders and delivery channels.The role works closely with the Microsoft Functional Alliance Directors as their primary stakeholders,Microsoft Alliance Leadership, Campaign Activation Strategists, Alliance Operations, Brand, Marketing & Communications (BMC), Go-to-Market (GTM), Service Lines, Sector and Area teams, Business Development, Client Technology and Microsoft-facing stakeholders to coordinate campaign planning inputs, regional readiness, enablement requirements, execution cadences, issue tracking and performance reporting.The successful candidate will convert defined campaign strategies, target account priorities and regional activation needs into practical execution plans, action trackers, stakeholder routines and progress updates. The role will maintain visibility across workstreams, monitor campaign milestones and key performance indicators, escalate risks or blockers through agreed governance channels, and provide concise insights that support leadership review, adoption tracking and pipeline awareness.Leveraging automation, analytics and AI-enabled productivity tools, the Microsoft Campaign Activation Specialist will improve campaign reporting quality, strengthen operational visibility, increase execution efficiency and support continuous improvement of activation processes. Through disciplined program management, stakeholder follow-through and attention to detail, the role will help increase the consistency, transparency and impact of EY’s Microsoft alliance campaign activation efforts.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Translate approved Microsoft alliance, campaign and GTM priorities into executable activation plans, workstream milestones, owners, dependencies and delivery actions within agreed strategic guardrails.
- Partner with Campaign Activation Strategists, Microsoft Alliance Leadership, Alliance Relationship Directors and Alliance Operations teams to operationalize campaign requirements, governance rhythms, dependencies and execution alignment.
- Activate target account and priority market plans defined by Global Microsoft Alliance, GTM, Sector, Field of Play and regional leadership teams, ensuring clear ownership, readiness, cadence and follow-through.
- Coordinate with alliance, GTM and marketing stakeholders to adapt campaign messaging, value propositions and activation narratives into usable regional enablement and execution materials.
- Partner with Brand, Marketing & Communications (BMC) to coordinate marketing plans, sales collateral, enablement content and communication assets required for campaign launch and regional adoption.
- Coordinate with Client Technology, Alliance Practice, Sector and Microsoft partner teams to support readiness and deployment of technical campaign assets, demos, solution showcases and enablement materials.
- Manage day-to-day campaign activation across regions by coordinating launch activities, awareness sessions, enablement briefings, readiness checkpoints and in-market execution support.
- Engage Area GTM leaders and regional stakeholders to confirm ownership, identify activation gaps and enable EY and Microsoft partner teams to execute defined sales motions in market.
- Support sales motion execution by coordinating campaign activities, account cadence, enablement follow-through and execution support with Alliance Client Executives and regional teams.
- Identify and resolve practical activation issues, adoption gaps, dependency risks and stakeholder follow-through challenges across priority accounts and regions.
- Run regional cadence meetings, maintain action trackers, monitor progress against milestones and escalate risks, blockers or decision points through established governance channels.
- Maintain campaign governance, reporting and performance discipline, including campaign stand-up, pipeline visibility, financial tracking, KPI reporting, account cadence support and leadership-ready status updates.
Skills and attributes for success
- Strong campaign activation and program management skills, with the ability to convert approved Microsoft alliance, campaign and priority account plans into clear activation workstreams, milestones, owners, dependencies and execution cadences.
- Manager-level judgment in coordinating complex, cross-functional campaign execution across regions, sectors, competencies and stakeholder groups while operating within approved strategy, governance standards and decision frameworks.
- Ability to assess campaign readiness, identify activation gaps, prioritize issues, evaluate execution risks and recommend practical adjustments or escalations that protect timelines, quality and business outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the credibility to align Campaign Activation Strategists, Microsoft Alliance Leadership, BMC, GTM, Service Line, Sector, Area, Business Development and Microsoft-facing teams around shared campaign priorities.
- Practical understanding of technology alliances, Microsoft ecosystem priorities, campaign activation models and professional services go-to-market motions, with the ability to apply this knowledge to enablement, adoption and in-market execution.
- Experienced in outcome-based marketing of Microsoft technologies related to Azure, Security or AI Business SolutionsStrong analytical orientation, with the ability to monitor campaign progress, pipeline visibility, KPI movement, stakeholder follow-through and operational performance, and convert data points into concise, leadership-ready insights.
- Ability to balance campaign enablement, regional readiness and sales motion support, ensuring activation activities remain focused on agreed objectives, target accounts, priority markets and measurable adoption outcomes.
- Strong communication and executive writing skills, including the ability to prepare concise status updates, governance materials, issue summaries, action trackers, decision notes and campaign performance narratives for senior stakeholders.
- High degree of ownership, follow-through and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple activation workstreams, drive action closure, maintain operating rhythms and sustain execution discipline in a matrixed environment.
- Comfort using automation, analytics, collaboration platforms and AI-enabled productivity tools to improve reporting quality, reduce manual effort, strengthen operational visibility and support continuous improvement in campaign activation processes.
Supervision Responsibilities
- Operates with appropriate independence to manage defined campaign activation workstreams, timelines, trackers and deliverables within established alliance, GTM and governance frameworks.
- Coordinates cross-functional contributors across Marketing, Alliance Operations, GTM, Sector, Competency and regional teams through influence and follow-through, without primary people-management accountability.
- Provides day-to-day execution guidance to campaign contributors and delivery partners to clarify actions, milestones, dependencies and expected outputs across assigned activation workstreams.
- May occasionally guide Campaign Lead Analysts or small task-based delivery pods during periods of campaign complexity, peak activation volume or specific regional execution needs.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- University graduate or postgraduate qualification; specialization in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Technology, Engineering, Economics, Management or a related field would be preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in campaign activation, alliance operations, partner marketing, GTM execution, PMO, program governance, commercial operations, reporting, business transformation or ecosystem support.
- Experience managing campaign or program workstreams across multiple stakeholders, geographies and time zones, including governance routines, trackers, status reporting and action closure.
- Prior experience supporting Microsoft, technology alliances, partner marketing, campaign execution, professional services organizations or global matrix environments would be preferred.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Microsoft certification, Project/Program Management, Agile, B2B Marketing, Campaign Management, Portfolio Management, Business Analysis or Business Transformation certification.
- Hands-on exposure to Microsoft campaign motions, partner marketing programs, marketplace/co-sell motions, campaign enablement, specialization readiness or partner-led governance models.
- Experience creating executive-ready dashboards, campaign scorecards, leadership review packs, activation summaries and decision support materials.
- Exposure to automation, workflow optimization, Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, Copilot or AI-enabled productivity tools in an enterprise campaign or program environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%, including occasional international travel, to support campaign activation, key planning sessions or regional alignment as required.
Technologies and Tools
- Microsoft 365 productivity and collaboration tools, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Word and PowerPoint, for stakeholder coordination, documentation, campaign materials and executive-ready communication.
- Microsoft Excel and Power BI for campaign trackers, KPI reporting, pipeline visibility, dashboarding, performance analysis and leadership updates.
- Microsoft Planner, Project, Lists or equivalent work management tools for milestone tracking, action logs, RAID management, approval workflows and dependency tracking.
- Experience in outcome-based marketing of Microsoft technologies related to Azure, Security or AI Business SolutionsPower Platform, Microsoft Fabric, workflow automation and collaboration tools to improve campaign operations, data capture, feedback collection and reporting efficiency.
- Microsoft Copilot or other EY-approved AI-enabled tools for research, meeting summarization, stakeholder updates, content drafting, insight generation and productivity improvement, in line with EY guidelines.

Working Hours: Aligned to Americas and Global Microsoft Alliance stakeholder coverage; flexibility may be required for campaign cadence, regional activation sessions, global leadership forums and cross-time-zone collaboration.
